Perhaps, but I also believe in Presumption of innocence, and I felt the same for the Seattle mayor.I believe the women. I do not believe Roy Moore. The GOP leadership should insist that Moore withdraw his candidacy.
It should be noted that it’s not Moore who is proposing this defense. Moore is denying all the allegations. The defense isn’t that he didn’t do it, but that it isn’t so bad because of the Holy Family.
Perhaps, but I also believe in Presumption of innocence
Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.

I was responding to a poster who said he believed Corfman, not Moore. I also said he should probably step aside, a part of my post that you conveniently left out.JonNC:![]()

I thought that Romney’s post juxtaposed against yours was interesting. Not that he was right.I was responding to a poster who said he believed Corfman, not Moore. I also said he should probably step aside, a part of my post that you conveniently left out.
Winning the seat means supporting Moore. If he withdraws Jones will win the election. A reporter called all of the Republican county chairs in Alabama and while several gave no comment most of them said they would still vote for him if the allegations of child molestation were true.I expect the Republicans to prioritize winning the seat, over fairness to Moore: such is party politics.
Something Strange might happen.Winning the seat means supporting Moore
As I recall, it was similar in Seattle. Nothing for decadesWith Moore, all the allegations are from nearly 4 decades ago, and impossible to verify and then nothing afterwards.
