I find this to be a curious example of trying to argue from both sides of one’s mouth. Wearing dresses is supposed to be more modest. But then it’s also more feminine. So, shouldn’t pants—which are supposedly less feminine—make women less attractive? So, for modesty sake, shouldn’t we encourage women to wear pants? For people who believe a skirt is better because it disguises the ‘curve’ of a woman’s body - what about when a man finds skirts more sexually attractive? Should we then abandon skirts? And yes, there are some men who are turned on by a woman in a dress or skirt.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of modesty. But some of the arbitrary “rules” I come across online make me scratch my head a bit.
