I think God appreciates your sacrifice you have made for His truth. It is difficult to face ridicule and hatred, but that is what Christ calls us to do for His sake. CTA, whether it is supported by one priest, one bishop, or one diocese, must not be tolerated. If we must all lose acknowledgement and respect in order to let the truth be known then so be it. These individuals, no matter what their position in the Church, must be called out, reported, and brought before the courts of the Church. This heresy must be directly combated. We may suffer because of our adherence to the truth, but in the end, that is true servanthood.I would be very careful about doing what most of the folks are urging you to do. This comes under “know your parish, know your Diocese.” Where I live, CTA is not only tolerated but is embraced in some parishes. I did, just as some replying to your post have urged you to do. I got handed my head and I am barely acknowleded in the local church. The priest at this particular church is very open about being a member of CTA and the folks that run the church are very supportive. There are very few Sundays that don’t include some sort of encouragement for women to become priests or allowing priests to marry. Anyway, be very certain that you will be able to handle the fall-out from whatever you say to the Bishop. GOD BLESS!
