You are right. So often the woman in the pulpit is continuing to advocate for women in the pulpit as if it’s about them and not about their service to the church. It becomes about “my rights” rather than responsibilities.I think that the saddest thing is that many of these women could be very good in some other form of ministry! (One I know of, has:yup: great musical gifts, for example!)
Also being a pastor seems often to be making a political statement for many women. It’s :nope: not about Jesus Christ, it’s about being “liberated” & PC.
I agree women have very important but different roles to fulfill in the church. It’s just sad when one’s gifts and one’s desires do not mesh
