I’m not sure. In that case it may be a matter of choice and/or respect. Not taking any chances though.Does Morocco require head covering by law?
I know Morocco to be, at present, one of the more enlightened states – heavy French influence. I know they are not a theocracy, so they haven’t moved into crazy yet.
But their proximity to Libya, and all the unrest as a result of the Arab Spring, puts Morocco in danger of this unrest as it spreads.
While Morocco is presently stable (or appears to be; I’ve heard nothing but fear that this could spread), I could not have predicted that Egypt would fall either. I’m concerned. So, far, it appears that the concentration is in Syria (and Yemen). It is a matter of time if this spreads to Morocco or not.
