World's climate warming faster than feared, scientists say

Man-made global warming is a myth…nothing more. The climate has NEVER been stagnate. In the history of humans the climate has been much colder…and MUCH warmer. That fireball in the sky is the place to look if you want to discuss “climate change.”

When volcanoes erupt they also throw particulates into the air which causes the sunlight to diffuse and the earth to cool.

Weekly volcanic report:

What I don’t think we know much about is underseas vulcanism. The particulates don’t make it to the surface. We don’t know much of anything about the degree to which volcanic chemical compounds “outgas” from the ocean surface into the atmosphere. But the heat from underseas volcanoes would certainly have a local effect on water temperatures. We know that. What we don’t know at all is how it affects water temperatures more widely.

I think that scientists exagerate on climate, but certainly, the climate is deranged because of Original Sin.

Agreed, when it comes to the oceans, we know very little.

The latest prediction reminds me of a Woody Allen movie that I once saw a long, long time ago where Woody comes back from the future. Everything that the scientists said was bad for you now, they say are good for you to the future Woody, and vice-versa.

Either way, it is always going to be worse than the scientists expected, the next time they offer their expectations. There is never going to be any shortage of things to worry about.

My guess is that climate scientists are the sons and daughters of farmers, and spending time worrying about the weather is something that comes very naturally to them.

One day we’ll look back at the “global warming” alarmists and wonder wasn’t medicine like that once? Made made GW is malarkey science. Weather patterns are proving so diificult to predict that while global warming ™ claim to predict dire scenarios in our not too distant future, they can not accurately predict the weather for next month let alone the next ten or twenty years!

As the planet marked its fourth hottest year on record, a study published in the journal *Nature *found increasing levels of carbon dioxide will lead to thinner ocean clouds and reduce their cooling impact, causing temperature rises of at least 5.6F (3C) over the course of the century.

The team of scientists said the findings show some climate models have been too “optimistic” and previous estimates of a minimum temperature rise of only 2.7F (1.5C) could now be discounted. The optimistic models did not properly assess the impact of water evaporation, which sometimes rises only a short distance into the atmosphere and causes updraughts that reduce cloud cover, the study found.

”These models have been predicting a lower climate sensitivity but we believe they’re incorrect,” Professor Steven Sherwood, from the University of New South Wales, told The Sydney Morning Herald.

This is why they are experiencing two feet deep snowstorms and freezing below zero cold in the Northeast today.

Could simply be a dip (see the chart; they have happened before)… 10 years is too short a time period to make any meaningful predictions about climate trends.
Well, then, how long does the “dip” have to be before it is considered a “trend?”

It simply doesn’t matter…if human activity causes global warming because of the amount of carbon in the atmosphere there is NO MECHANISM by which there should be a stall in the elevation of temperatures UNLESS the amount of carbon in the atmosphere decreases.

. . . which we don’t have. Since 11/2000 we have seen a 26 ppm rise in the CO2 levels, combined with a consistent slow decline in global temperatures. The MMGW enthusiasts have no explanation for this.

Temperatures are at an all time low in some areas. For example, for the NFL game Sunday, “according to AccuWeather, the high will be minus-five degrees, the low will be minus-20 and the wind chill will be … MINUS-51 DEGREES.”
Minus 51 degrees at Green Bay doesn’t sound too much like global warming.

Sounds like a repeat of the Ice Bowl 😃

True story – The Butler University Marching Band was being recruited to play the halftime for that game, but when we left for Christmas vacation, it was still up in the air, because they weren’t offering enough $$$ for us to make the trip. Finally the message came down the telephone tree – we’re not going, stay home. My father and I watched the game on TV, and I was rejoicing that the Packers were too cheap 😃

thegatewaypundit.com/2013/12/five-years-ago-today-al-gore-predicted-the-north-pole-will-be-ice-free-in-5-years/ < from 12/13/2013. Laughed out loud at seeing the last line of the article. "Today Cairo (Egypt) had its first snowfall in 100 years."

Well there’s this ^ on one hand.

And I’ve seen a lot of globes in my time … but Green Bay has never been called out on one. 🤓

If I hadn’t have lived in Northern Illinois and seen occasional photographs of it … I might doubt the existence of Green Bay just as much as Global Warming.

:snowing: < Packer fan at the game this Sunday. :tanning: < Me rooting for them via TV in the OC (after the Charger game in Cincy).

Record lows everywhere do tend to make people doubt that the planet is globally warming.
When I hear someone advocate the existence of “Global Warming” … usually who is " … to blame for it" follows. And I usually disagree with THAT too. 😃

It’s winter
It aways amazes me that the climate change deniers use the fact that its cold and snowing in winter to claim that it means there is no climate change. Apparently they haven’t been paying attention to the fact that we’re talking about a difference of a few degrees; not Alaska becoming a tropical rainforest overnight.
