It always amazes me that warmists ignore failed prediction after failed prediction, and keep on spouting their warmist nonsense.

Everytime there is a hurricane, or a tornado outbreak, or a cold spell, or a hot spell, the warmists tell us the sky is falling. We’ve been told there will be more severe weather because of man made global warming.

This year had record low number of tornadoes:

This year had hardly any hurricane activity:

Warmists always want it both ways. When it’s hot for a few days in a row warmists are all over TV talking about it. When it gets cold they shout “climate change”.

It’s all the biggest hoax ever perpetrated.

I can understand that Alaska will not be tropical, that we are looking toward only a few degrees.

But the temperatures are going in the wrong direction.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I misinterpreted your “temperatures going in the wrong direction” as meaning “I want them to go down, but they’re going up.” My bad :o

BTW, no one denies the climate changes, just that man isn’t powerful enough to do it as much as the progressive left, who profit greatly from it, want us to believe.

Um, yeah…the earth has been cooling for the past 17 years…as documented by numerous new stories. Scientists can’t explain it, even as CO2 emissions are higher than ever (thanks to China). Meanwhile, both poles have increased and record ice coverage, and the US has been called in to rescue two other ice breakers in the antarctic. And arctic ice has increased 30% over last year.

The East Anglia scandal has confirmed that global warming is a fraud, it is all about grant dollars and environmental (socialist ) dogma. Anything based on computer models isn’t science- it is guesswork.

I can’t stand this climate propaganda rubbish.

Meanwhile, Australia is abnormally hot, and in Central Europe it was +12C today, when -12C would be more normal.
 
So? Two yeas ago America had a record setting summer. Last summer was one of the coldest. And the south pole has a record for summer ice.

Fact is, we know nothing about our earth’s climate. Forty years ago the narrative was global cooling. Then it was global warming based on a fraudulent hockey-stick graph. Now folks are trying like hell to cling to the warming theme, or say that man is hurting the weather no matter what it is.

A pattern? Man is to blame, so force man to change his behavior. That is called socialism. Which is what the modern environmental movement is all about.

One of the hottest decades in US history was the 30s. The 30s. Meanwhile the 10s are turning out to be one of the coldest.

We don’t know squat and I think God gets a kick out of a bunch of scientists guessing about the climate and passing off “consensus” as fact.

Don’t sweat it gang…God isn’t going to let us destroy His earth. Now, try to find a way to not destroy each other with war, forced famines, and slavery, and get government out of the way, and things will be dandy.

Government is a cause for a lot of problems. When people say “get government out of the way” they are talking about oppressive regulation.

I know of no one who thinks there should be no government.

No doubt there are a few.

But even in the realm of capitalism, regulation is needed. Just as no one should want anarchy, no-one should long for robber barons, dead cats in sausages, or unrestricted pollution again, either.

I’d take a little global warming here too. Schools are cancelled for tomorrow because of expected -30F - -50F degree temps.

You may have gotten your wish.

Studies over the past decade are finding that reduced sea ice in the Arctic is contributing to negative arctic oscillations (increasing frequency & intensity), which cause northern latitude weather to shift from a west-east pattern to a north-south pattern, bringing cold arctic weather down southward.



Down here in the Rio Grande Valley we are expecting perhaps a freeze tomorrow night and will have to cover up some of our plants (can’t grow things here in summer – too hot). And I had thought that the one silver lining in global warming would be less chance of our winter garden freezing. 😦

Meanwhile Russia & the arctic area above Europe are well above average and Australia is sizzling. Global warming is about global trends – which means one needs to look at temperatures from around the world and over long timeframes (30 or more years)…which is why it took so long – until 1995 – for studies to start coming in giving 95% confidence that global warming was happening.

It really is cold as ___ in Canada. Keep bundled up!
