Well, then I consider myself very blessed in life. When you picture the perfect teenage relationship as going to mass and adoration together.
When I was done counting for Hide and Go Seek I did the sign of the cross. Oops.I’ll start:
The other day, I went to the movies. When I got into the theater, I started walking to the other side where there were more seats. When I got to the middle, I stopped and was one second away from genuflecting to the movie screen! I luckily caught myself and laughed as I sat down.
Any experiences you guys have?
That is funny. Old-fashioned (and not so old-fashioned) nominal Catholics! That is very sad but probably has some truth. However, that seems to happen with every religion and denomination.you don’t believe in God
I was joking, i hope you saw that. I didn’t mean to deny god or anything. That is funny. Old-fashioned (and not so old-fashioned) nominal Catholics! That is very sad but probably has some truth. However, that seems to happen with every religion and denomination.
Okay. Since you say that you are an agnostic, I thought that you were serious.I was joking, i hope you saw that. I didn’t mean to deny god or anything.
Those are signs of being traditional. But all above that the Catholic tradition starts with the acceptance of the Magisterium, and without that it is not true tradition.
- You genuflect before the Tabernacle, no matter what strange angle or position it is situated on the modern altar, and you keep looking towards it with reverence, believing Christ to be truly present there…
- You become irritated when entering the church to hear people chatting loudly with each other as if they are attending a social gathering in a hall, and you can’t concentrate on your prayers due to this…
except for Salmon LoafYou just CAN’T bring yourself to eat TUNA CASSEROLE on Friday’s during lent. LOL
(I still think it’s the most ghastly concoction ever created…the more things you add to it, the worse it gets.)
