when my wife was in for life saving surgery (at a non-denominational hospital, and we picked the surgeon based on his expertise), we prayed that God’s will be done, and that He guide the surgeon’s hands. without medical intervention, she’d have died. this story is hardly unique and I submit that its commonplace here.

Toby, can you please answer how Genesis disproves evolution? Your answer should be no more than 200 words in length, and appropriately documented.

Nope I am saying science of evolution is full of scientific problems. A scientist can’t tell you when Christ will return. A scientist can’t tell you how old the earth is, he can only give an educated guess and nothing more. Anything we have to help mankind came from God as God provides and from science exclusively. We are to put man first and when needed medical attention, we shall seek because God provides. I get a little tired of people of telling me that I evolved from an Ape. Every answer to every question does come from the Bible because the Bible with God leads us to reasoning.

If ape and man share common ancestor then both would have to be created in God’s image in which ape is not in God’s image. In regards to God not being in man’s image, I am simply quoting from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you have read it, in regards to man’s creation that is what appears.
