Catechism references 31, 355, 374, 380 designate that Man is created in God’s image. No where in the Catechism that creatures such as bugs, whales, birds, apes is given that distinction. Because man is created in God’s image and likeness, he is the ONLY one willed to server and love his creator. If ape was created in God’s IMAGE AND Likeness wouldn’t God have willed ape to love and serve him?? All creatures bear resemblence to God. But none but man are created in image and likeness. Genesis alone proves no creature before animal and man, so how can ape and man share common ancestor? They share God
