The key phrase is bolded. We don’t have to interpret Genesis literally.

Still no scientific argument against either evolution or the age of the earth.

So once again, you admit that there is no scientific evidence that would oppose evolution. Once again, good for you!

The problem is is that you claimed in post #545 that the “science of evolution is full of scientific problems.” So I guess you are now conceeding that your statement was wrong.

Wirraway and Orogeny, since I was the first one interrogated, I think it is fair to ask of the interrogator the same questions he asked me. And, interestingly, although we are quite opposite in our understanding and acceptance of science, we answer the same on all three questions: (1) We are both Catholic; (2) we both have read the Bible cover-to-cover, and (3) neither of us rejects God. That’s a good thing! 👍

The point isn’t what is fair and what is not. I’m just tired of Catholics questioning the catholicity of other Catholics. I include Toby in this discussion. He shouldn’t do it to begin with.

what do you mean, either (1) you’ve never seen factual inconsistencies in the bible or (2) you’re never read an account that says that’s a contradiction?

I have never seen any contradiction in the bible or seen in inconsistancy
