Our Lady who has been the orchestrator of my return to Jesus and put me on the path of conversion into Catholicism and brought me back into a relationship with her son and with God and the Holy Spirit.
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta who is for me the true meaning of what it means to be Christ-like
Saint Maxmillian Kolbe the brave man who stood up for the Jewish people in their hour of Darkness, was without fear in speaking truth to Power, and was devoted to our beloved Imacculata
Saint Edith Stein who was brilliant, strong minded, a modern woman with a strong grip on the pulse of her times, with incredible bravery and is a role model for personal courage and what it means to be a modern woman in a world that demands scientific answers for our Faith
Saint Monica the mother of Saint Augustine who shows us the true meaning behind the powerful prayer of a mother and the fruits of perserverance even when everyone tells you your prayers will never be answered. Because of her steadfastness and her determination we have with us today the works that have laid down the foundation of our Faith through her son. She is a woman who endured all and has been richly rewarded!
Saint Rita because she bore up under a very dark life and remained strong in faith even as it continued. She shows silent strength and the power of God to do the impossible through those whom the world has tried the hardest to break.
Saint Maria Goretti who stands for victims like me and shows us the way to love, forgiveness, inner peace, and how to be Christ-like, finding love even for those who wish us harm.
Saint Michael the Archangel because he is the ultimate defender of the Faith, the Protector of the Church, standing against Satan and all the powers of Darkness and watches after us.
Saint Francis of Assisi who showed us what it means to be Good Stewards, to love and respect this great gift in the world God has created for us and how it is to be treated and to look at it with awe and treat it as a fellow creation what with the very rocks sings Glory to God.
Saint Augustine for his brilliant logical mind, his methodical thinking, his straight way of speaking and getting across his message to generations!
Saint Aleydis the brave girl who fought terrible illness and still with the power of faith was able to honor and show the power of the Eucharist to all of us and what it means to respect the Sacraments and show that even the most simple of us can teach us the meaning of things we often take for granted in our abilities that come everyday for us and show us that in everything that we do is a miracle.
Those are a few of mine
