I love many. Sacre Coeur in Paris and the Dome in Florence will always be some of my favorites but this is just my home parish

That’s the tetrapod. It’s a table on which an icon is placed with candles. When one enters, we bow in front of it and make the sign of the cross. Some do this three times.

I just returned from visiting Eastern Europe last week. Was able to visit St Stephen Cathedral in Vienna ,which was packed by tourists from all over the world .I was just in awe .Was able to visit as well Polish,Latvian Cathedrals and centuries old churches. I didnt see any Protestant churches along Eurorail route .It was all Catholic.No sign of Baptist ,Pentecostal etc. Although,I was surprised to see JW members chasing tourists,including in Stockholm .

The interior of my parish. We completed a renovation a few years ago. There used to be pews on three sides of the altar- I miss that, but I’ve gotten used to the new setting.
