One of these days, I need to take a road trip to Louisiana and Cajun country. Perhaps when the weather is a little cooler.

The church you posted is lovely. I’ve always liked little churches in deeply rural areas.

I really want to visit here in the near future, about a 5 hour drive. Absolutely beautiful church

I love those beautiful village Churches. In the country of my ancestors (England) there are thousands of idyllic villages with beautiful Churches, all most all Anglican.

In Ireland you’ll find similar villages with Catholic Churches! Here in NZ we don’t have ‘villages’ as such. The most idyllic Churches are in the city. Very small Churches are uncommon here because we’ve never had villages like that.
