It is. Gender and sex are sometimes interchangeable but sometimes not. Gender expression and sexual expression are very different things.

Not all believe that. You are describing an enby or non-binary person. Different from a transgender person.

The trans people I’m closest to barely advocate for themselves, not close to activists so they aren’t shoving anything down your throat.

And no one is shoving anything dow your throat. Don’t be ridiculous.
 
Yes. You are wrong. I think they are common misunderstandings, but how you are presenting bi and trans here,q wa is wrong. Where did you find you definitions, especially for bisexual?
 
All this reminds me of George Wallace. When he was running for office. A heckler would call out to him.
He would reply, “Yes and I love you too honey,” then he would say,“Ooops I thought you were one of the girls. With all that long hair it’s hard to tell.”

How often would this come up when a person is a patient. I don’t refer to people as he-nurse and she-doctor. And are you sure you would know? Some women with pcos have facial hair and full beards, some men have high voices.
 
I goes beyond physical and offensive language

It can be someone who simply in their beliefs - gets deemed Homo-Phobic
 
The only thing I’ve seen re: homosexual persons which might get deemed offensive by any are those which reflect Teachings of The Catholic Church concerning Active Homosexuality.

Never forget that Scriptures are also a part of the Church as is Apostolic Tradition

CCC - Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

Yet that doesn’t stop some from attempting to control any dissemination with regard to the Sin of homosexuality. And when that occurs - unfortunately the need for correction and reminders arise.

The fact that some clergy have also adopted an almost Pro-SameSex “marriage” attitude,
likewise adds fuel to that fire.

Oh Jharek, you know this will never materialise.

I did have a giggle at the thought that ‘the NHS’ was some monolith where we have one overlord mouthpiece dictating our policies.

If only that were true, it would be great. I’d save A LOT of time just repeating what ‘the NHS’ has said rather than having to write our own policies and protocols as individual trusts/providers.

I had to review 27 of my own organisation’s policies/protocols last month. If only I had known that ‘the NHS’ dictated those to us and I didnt actually need to make all that work for myself!!

You’re distrusting all media reports of what the NHS said- for what purpose?

To go on and attempt to claim that w/o the actual NHS blab - that one can not say it did? 😃
