Sometimes you can tell from the context. You can also tell when moderators advise you not to respond to some posters. Political leanings are the easiest of all to know.

I think they want to go back to the old days when it is was quite all right to be a male chauvinistic pig.

Some bystanders might wonder why there is even a question about lynching protestors. Doesn’t the military follow a code of ethics in which civilians are not to be intentionally harmed?

I thought that was kind of obvious, especially on a Catholic website. But, as usual, CAF teaches me something every day.
