1 killed as Trump supporters, protesters clash in Portland

Yes, I heard about this. They are not releasing much information on this and whether it is related to the protests, but some police also were shot last night in other cities I understand, this is all horrible and I do think all or most of it is simply agitation by leftists that don’t care if people get hurt or killed or property destroyed.
 
The difference on the reporting on this incident and the one in Kenosha is remarkable. In Kenosha it was basically a violent vigilante gunned down “peaceful” protestors. In Portland their being very careful to NOT classify it yet as it may turn out to be one of the “peaceful” protestors who may have done the gunning down.

That kid who killed a protestor travelled into the city with his gun. It’s clear that it isn’t just left wingers looking for trouble.

He was there to guard that car lot with some other people is my understanding, if there had been no trespassing, I’m not sure this would have happened. Granted, that’s no excuse for his acts; but it does sound like this could have been avoided.

We will need to find out the facts and there will be a trial. He may not be found guilty of charges like murder. He may be found guilty of possession of a fire arm. He was only 17 and I don’t think could legally carry one.

Of course, it’s terrible, 17 years old, from my understanding, killing 2 people in Kenosha and wounding a third. I saw film of what happened with the man injured. It looks like he had a hand gun as well.
 
Have you looked at what the NYT, CNN or MSNBC have said. The NYP is somewhat right so not much of a comparison.
 
A very close look at the videos and some witness statements show this was a case of self defense. Especially the two in the street.

Since the kid was carrying illegally, disarming such a threat to public safety is a public service, not an attack.

As for Portland, I know people have been talking about Wisconsin but Andy Ngo on his twitter account ventures a theory. I don’t think it would be proper to directly quote him but those curious can go look.
 
I’ve pretty much just accepted that Portland, or at least its powers that be, must not mind having nightly civil unrest every night. Very happy I don’t have to live there or anywhere near it.
 
This is terrible, it is sounding like someone definitely not with antifa was killed. Very sad. Must someone die first?

And I will say, there are agitators on most sides. I do not know if they are all sides.

That’s quite a stretch there. From watching the videos I doubt those three men were not trying to disarm him as a community service.

When you refuse to maintain law and order as the Portland mayor has done along with Kenosha, everyone starts to become a vigilante. This is reality. Vigilantism is lawlessness and more importantly, dangerous. Those who continue to think the Portland lawlessness experiment is a great idea ought to be ashamed of themselves for such juvenile “thinking”. Grow up. Reality doesn’t submit itself to utopian fantasies.
