The lesbian parents of an 11-year-old boy who is undergoing the process of becoming a girl last night defended the decision, claiming it was better for a child to have a sex change when young.
Thomas Lobel, who now calls himself Tammy, is undergoing controversial hormone blocking treatment in Berkeley, California to stop him going through puberty as a boy.
But Pauline Moreno and Debra Lobel warn that children with gender identity disorder forced to postpone transitioning could face a higher risk of suicide.

What’s also disturbing is the comments from their supporters. And why is it a psychiatrist doesn’t analyze these people and tell them that they have a problem rather than enable them?
 
This is straight up child abuse. How is this permitted to happen?
 
The poor boy. This is one of the dangers of same sex parents. He wants to change because he believes that the women wish it. It isn’t even a free decision by a mature adult.
 
If he decides that he wants to be a dog, will they get him surgery to add a tail and then tell the world to accept him as a dog, though he is clearly not?
 
Is the vatican sure about the death penalty being unnecessary? I can think of two women who deserve it.

To think this could happen in this country. It just makes me sick.

Maybe I’m naive, but if they wanted a girl so badly, why didn’t they just adopt one? Is this just more sick propaganda for the agenda?

Youre not the only one. Sometimes, im glad to be 57yo, and well and truly on the downhill run.

When were not in the state of grace, our intellects are darkened . . . i cant help wondering about some of these people, our politicians, lawmakers et al. Frankensteins monster aint nothin compared with whats being done now.
 
Just pray Christ keep the soul of t he child who is no doubt going to be at an incredibly high risk for living a sinful life outside of God’s love and grace. Pray that this sinful life be erased by the fact these fallen caregivers (as they can not be considered parents) forced such a horrible atrocity of God and science on such a young and otherwise innocent soul. This is why Mary warned us of the chastisement. This world needs a good kick in the butt to show God is seriously miffed at us (as a whole). Maybe if repeats of Sodom and Gomorrah (sp) start happening the world over, people will wake up. If not…St Michael protect us.

I can’t even begin to believe that this could be legal in this country! I’d think that he’d have to be at least 18 to do this! You can’t vote until you’re 18. In most places you can’t drink until you’re 21! How can a child possibly know for himself if he is really a “girl?”

Analyze? Why doesn’t Child Protective Services sieze the child and arrest the parents (and the doctor while they’re at it?

Sadly, this little boy will always be “wanting” because he will never grow to be a woman. When the desire to be a parent kicks in adulthood, he will be reminded that he was born male.
 
I don’t think this would be allowed to be done to a dog, but then the state of California has established its priorities.

You’re darn right it is. If I were a relative to those women or that child, I would have stuck my nose in to their business and tried to get that process stopped.
How can this child even know what he wants at that age? How can he even know he isn’t a boy inside? he hasn’t even been allowed to go through a normal puberty, or anything! let him go through puberty and become of age, then we’ll see what happens, and if he still wants it that’s a different story.
You’re right, how was this permitted to happen, and what ethical doctor would perform this kind of an operation on a minor?
 
I wonder, if the child was a physical girl that wanted to a boy, would the so-called “parents” say yes to that?

If I am not mistaken, this is the second case in a month being discussed here in which a lesbian couple adopts a boy, who ends up believing his is a girl. Irony?

I believe it’s the same child, this article is just more detailed. This little boy was adopted at age 2. What was his life like before the adoption? Was he in foster care? Was his life unstable? Was he abused?

A few weeks ago Dr. Keith Ablow wrote about “gender identity disorder” regarding C. Bono. He believed that there was not adequate psychiatric treatment prior to surgery.

THIS, my dear friends and neighbors, THIS is why I oppose allowing sexual perverts to adopt children. All the pro-homosexual blather about “Oh, ‘gay’ parents are just as good as heterosexual parents, oh, ‘gay’ parents don’t pass on their perversions to the children, they don’t ‘train’ them to have sexual deviancies”, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Bull puckey. Homosexual perverts have ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS adopting children, raising children, or having any contact with children whatsoever. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
