the doctrine you are referring to doesn’t exist. If you’re here to scandalize the Church than kindly keep your posts to yourself. What these parents are doing is absolutely sick and the fact they are allowing it is because they are damaged themselves as lesbians. A heterosexual couple would never do this. If they did, they would be seen as crazy and dcfs would intervene and assess the situation. Why won’t they do this with a gay couple? Because gender bending is natural for someone who is already mentally broken. There is nothing hateful for calling out such disgusting sins against humanity. These sinners are in serious need of prayer (we all are in general but THIS is a whole new breed of monster). If you call yourself “christian” but have the mindset that “Christ loves everyone so everyone should be able to do whatever they want because God loves them so its ok in His eyes”, than you should take a looong hard look at what Christ taught. And if you want to know the truth about Christ and his Teachings than I’d advise you to bury your nose in the Catechism and a Catholic Bible (one that is complete and doesn’t omit books like the protestant bibles). Then you can learn Christ’s teachings as a WHOLE and not just the watered down version you find in protestant and non denominational churches 👍

I can certainly support your feelings.

When the legalization of Gays and Lesbian marriage and support for the G&L Adoption bill went through the Supreme Court of Canada and finalized; numerous Catholics and other Christian denominations as well as Jewish communities who defiantly rallied against it. Numerous people were arrested including Bishops, Priests, Rabbi’s and denominational Ministers.

I certain pray and hope it doesn’t get passed in the U.S.

Then again two of the nine Supreme Court judges at the time were Gay so go figure
 
I did something I have never done before. I e-mailed Bill O’Reilly on Fox News. Love him or hate him, he isn’t afraid to expose things like this and has a track record of getting things like this attention on the national stage and even getting some of it stopped.

I am sooooo glad I had a Dad who I wanted to be like when I was 11. And I’m sooooo glad I had a Mum whose compassion and nurturing traits I could try to emulate.

And I’m sooooo glad I had some brothers and sisters so I could see that my anatomy was common and not just some strange quirk of nature!

Good enough response to that. The truth is that those that work in the psycho medial industry would not ever dare to diagnose anything against the nature of homosexual tendancies, orientation, leanings and the like… it would be career suicide to do so in today’s political climate.

I think the comment about if this young boy wanted to be a dog at 8 that the “parents” (in question) would enable their son to go through surgical alterations to appear as a dog to be tongue-in-cheek. (an apt observation of these flakes)

This boy was not intersexxed… he is fully male, and has other mental issues if you see the accompanying videos (possible mental delayed, and definite speech).

This has got most of us shaken up because of the precedent it will set and the ripples to future cases.

I like to think of myself as an open minded individual, but at some point one has to say, “Now that’s gone too far.” This is such a case.

No 8 year old child has the mental or emotional development to understand something like this including the full ramifications of what this will mean for the rest of their lives, and make an appropriate decision. These “parents” who, from what is written in the article, are encouraging and allowing this ought to be in jail, let alone given custody of a child. Whether or not this is a function of them being homosexual is not the immediate concern. The immediate concern is protecting this child. The rest can be sorted out later.

Furthermore, the link to provided is talking about sexual orientation, not getting a sex change so it is a moot argument anyway.

The real atrocity is committed by those who can find justification for overturning millions of years of human evolution using artificial means such as surgery and science. That, along with gay adoption, which puts children into households where single gender parenting is the role model for the child. That’s a perversion of child rearing. The perversion is made very obvious by the fact that science has to be used to fulfill the fantasies of same gender couples who, by dint of mother nature, can’t breed. Using medical science to change the gender of an 11 year old reminds me of some sci-fi flick where the zombies are out in force gathering victims to their perverted way of living. The real and true discrimination is carried out by mother nature herself. Even she is perverted by the demmands of a vociferous minority who don’t know the meaning of the phrase ‘moral choice’. The proof of that is someone who will put an expletive before the name of a moral doctrine.

And no, I don’t have to love my neighbour if he/she is perverting the very society which gave them the freedom to fling mud at the institutions that gauranteed the freedoms they abuse.

Because the legal system (actually, the whole Establishment) was coopted about 43ish years ago by people with a mentality totally at odds with God’s design. This did not just pop out of the earth: it’s part of a long trajectory (and was not inconceivable [no pun intended]).

Regardless of what side of the fence one is on, I would think that all would agree that a decision like this needs to be made in adulthood, (if ever).
And I do have medical concern for the child. He needs to go through a normal, natural puberty in his born gender(male) before having a drastically life altering,irrevocable surgery like this. Science has recently shown that the frontal lobe of the brain aren’t even completely mature or formed until the early 20’s!! This type of life- altering surgery should only be made on fully mature adults who can give informed consent! An 11 year old can’t give informed consent! Kids that age can’t see consequences years down the line! Those adults should realize that. And what ethical doctor would give female hormones to a healthy young male minor?
 
This is just sick. And not only is it sickening, it is child abuse as well. I don’t agree with sex change surgeries and transsexualism but even if I did, I would still say that this is sickening and is child abuse. The child hasn’t even had the chance to go through puberty yet. How on earth could he possibly feel that he wants to be a girl? And if he does have this sincere desire, he needs some intensive psychotherapy and not a sex change! Another thing that infuriates me is that lesbian and gay couples are allowed to raise children!

Makes me think of the movie The Boys From Brazil and Josef Mengele’s horrific experiments at the Birkenau extermination camp during WWII.

Sadly, history is repeating itself, and now it’s done in the name of compassion! God help us!

If you are going to make a comment about my post, please read be accurate. Children like to pretend to be many things. Sometimes they want to be animals. Sometimes little boys want to be superheroes. An 8-year-old mind is still immature. How anyone can say that a child’s imaginative play at being a girl means that he IS a girl in a boy’s body is beyond me. So, a child that plays at being a dog or Superman really is those things trapped in a child’s body? Imaginative play, or in this case, probably more like attempts to please the “mothers” should not lead to hormone treatments to stop the normal development of a child’s body.

Or how about boys being castrated so they could continue singing Soprano in Catholic Church choirs in the 18th and 19th century?
 
After sex-change surgery, which entails severing nerves that allow for sexual response, scarring in the male ureter can lead to a lifetime of UTI’s; and a significant percentage admit that the surgery did not give them the satisfaction they sought. So an 11-year-old is able to make this kind of a decision? Mummys can say, “Yeah, baby!” in their best Austin Powers voice but his mojo will be lost forever. “Dances with the Scars” may see mummys weeping in the audience like Cher. What a child won’t do to gain love.

I’ll disagree slightly. We are supposed to love all people, but no where does Tradition say we have to tolerate their idiotic behaviors! 😉
