lol at whoever the Trump guy giving information to Russian intelligence was (probably Roger Stone). Best case scenario he can hope for now is the government considering him a useful idiot.

“On or about August 15, 2016, the Conspirators, posing as Guccifer 2.0, received a request for stolen documents from a candidate for U.S Congress. The Conspirators responded using the Guccifer 2.0 persona and sent the candidate stolen documents related to the candidate’s opponent.”

What an amazing crock of nothing. But it’s typical of the Mueller investigation.

He indicts 12 Russian intelligence officers who will never testify, who will never come to court, and who will never receive any penalty.

This is worse than a “witch hunt” because there’s no plan to actually capture the witches or do anything to them. Mueller will simply ask a judge for a trial date, put on some phony evidence (probably Crowdstrike, the only people who have ever seen the DNC computer) get them convicted “in absentia”, and absolutely nothing else will happen.

Nothing.

We know that Robert Mueller is thorough and by-the-book. The indictments would not have been issued if the evidence wasn’t there. Seeing Trump apologists trying to spin this is laughable.

Of course it’s there. It’s just garbage. Some witness from Crowdstrike will come into court and testify that “Yup, it was the Russians, all right. I’m an expert and I know.” The absent defendants won’t offer any evidence or even cross-examination, and the judge will convict the 12 Russians who will never be punished.

It’s bogus. Do you not know that’s how default hearings go?

Nothing will happen as long as the GOP is in power in the House. All they can do is shout Benghazi! Benghazi! Bendhazi! and then look the other way or worse, seek to intimidate FBI officials, while a foreign adversary steals the election for Trump.

Every GOP member of the House Intelligence Committee should be indicted for obstruction of justice, starting with Mr. Nunes.

What a lame deflection!

This indictment is a sham. You know it as well as I do. Yammering about Benghazi has nothing to do with the fact that Mueller might as well be indicting the Man in the Moon. They’ll never be arrested. They’ll never appear in court. They will be convicted in absentia, and they will never be punished.

That’s all absolute.

This has nothing, zero, to do with President Trump. The Democrats with their crew are responsible for the computer hacking. Are there any Debbie Wasserman Schultz fans out there? Let’s get into all of the computer hacking through her favorite Pakistani Iwan Bros. Do you need calendars to know who was responsible?

The fact that they don’t care that these were members of the GRU is more sad than anything else. Go ahead, foreign intelligence agencies, hack U.S. organizations. We Republicans are fine with that.

Objection: Do not reduce the gravely serious dereliction of duty on the part of Obama/Clinton foisted upon the Ambassador in Lybia; causing his death and the deaths of the brave men that fought on to their death, incredibly outnumbered and incredibly ignored by Obama/Clinton. Those military that could have effected a rescue were ordered to standown. Do you know how many phone calls came into the White House from the Ambassador for help? There is a record of it all and its waiting for the spineless Justice Dept. to answer for it. Benghazi is a cry for Justice!

Besides seeking retribution, the investigation also serves the very important purpose of bringing to light exactly what happened and who is to blame if for no other reason than the American public will know the truth. That might have an important impact on future public policy decisions, such as how we regulate social media. Even if Russians are responsible, their work was facilitated, perhaps unknowingly, by Facebook and Twitter - both American companies. The effect of this investigation ought to guide future decisions at Facebook and Twitter, and hopefully guide average Americans in how they treat random tweets and Facebook postings. For these reasons alone, the Mueller investigation is well worth the time spent, even if no Russian ever receives punishment at our hands.
