People seem to find wrong with everything Trump does, he is too much under a microscope, his star may be waning now. I think so a bit, it does not mean it necessarily will.
I agree. A lot of people don’t like him because he is rich and successful - envy.
I like some of what he says because he says many things which need to be said. I wish he would stop with the personal insults and have a little more dignity like Ben Carson, but he let’s the entertainment side take over and this is serious business here-we need to have someone in the White House to get America back on its feet.

So do the one in three Republicans who actually support the man to run the free world.

Even Jeremy Corbyn doesn’t say that the Queen has a horrible face. 🙂 I stand by the superficial assertion about American culture, in view of the fact that Trump is still a serious contender.
He’s not. The race hasn’t even started yet. Everything we have witnessed this summer is a warm-up act. Most people have not seriously focused on presidential politics this early in the season.

I hope you are right.

Great piece about Trump/Coulter “Conservatism” - again (as if I needed anything more) I rest my case on the idiocy (or “superficiality”) of where this is all headed. I mean how many goshdarn morons do you think we have in this country. :o;)

There could be some envy in why a lot of people do not like him but I think maybe more it could be because usually most people can take just so much of someone who is constantly bragging about themselves. That is how I see him, someone who doesn’t think he can do any wrong.

I hope you are right.

No critics of Trump ever point out where his message fails, it’s just saying very negative and in fact, uncharitable things about him.

Okay, Trump gives in, only those who believe in breaking the law should have an opinion. :rotfl:

Trump’s message to repeat, is never negated, only personal attacks on him or now, on anyone who goes along with him. Sad.

Just to repeat, over 90% of this nation sees illegal immigration as a problem and 72% percent see it as a major problem. That indeed, includes many Americans of all backgrounds who see it this way for Trump to once again to have rocks thrown at him for being the messenger.

Uh.

I don’t like Fiorina. First of all, they complain because Trump mentioned something about her looks. But why was it OK when Fiorina attacked how Barbara Boxer looked in 2010? It seems hypocritical for her to attack the way Barbara Boxer looked, but it is not OK for Trump to do the same to her.
Fiorina did not complain about Trump’s remarks about her looks. She said, “everybody heard what he said.”
Further, she seemed very scripted and inauthentic. She memorized her lines all right, but she seems to me to be just repeating what someone else told her to say. And she comes across as very rude, interrupting everyone as she pleases.
Teleprompters not allowed. 😛

To the extent that Trump has a message - it would be really helpful if you could summarize it for me, that is beyond Carly Fiorina’s face and the fact that we need to deport 11 million violent Mexican criminals and kick China’s butt big time in order to make America great again - this has all been part of the GOP platform (long before Trump came along) (in much more coherent responsible plans) and all of the other candidates’ platforms. (see GOP platform on immigration - wall, increase border patrol, e-verify, deport felons; see ALL GOP candidates on ISIS, economy, foreign policy, Iran deal)

Here’s what’s wrong with Trump. He’s a narcissist with no social filters. I might agree with a lot of what he says, but he’s not the kind of man I want running my country. He is “words.” I don’t begrudge him his wealth. There are better candidates out there that represent pretty much the conservative views: Rubio, Christie, Ben Carson, Fiorina, and Jeb. I hate to say it, but I’m writing Jeb off because of the name, even though I really liked what he said and would make a great president. Fiorina will be pummeled because of her association with HP. Not sure if Christie’s bridgegate scandal will be his downfall, though.

Agree.

Neither did “everybody” hear what Trump had said.
Was it all right for Fiorina to complain about the appearance of Barbara Boxer? Should she be criticized for doing so?
She didn’t complain, that’s my point. I have no idea what she said about Barbara Boxer. If she had complained about what Trump said about her, then she would be a hypocrite. But she didn’t complain about Trump’s remarks.

The debate moderator brought it up, not Fiorina. It was a stupid question, designed to start a cat fight. I believe she answered with grace and tact.

Let’s leave it there.

I had to Google search the story. I am not going to post it because I don’t what to get my hands dirty in this nonsense - but I will just say that yes I do think calling her hair “so yesterday” on mic (not knowing it was on) is a little tasteless. Is it the same thing as Trump saying what he said - not sure. There is an old rule women can be catty with women, men can insult other men. But for some reason when the opposite sex makes personal criticisms it often comes across as more offensive and out of line. Also Carly did not know the comment was going public - Trump did - it was part of an attack on her.

Bush bears responsibility for the 9/11 attacks, but there were some contributing factors to the success of the attack that exposed a lot of deep seated issues festering long before his oath of office. Factors such as incompetent leadership and bad practices in the military, government agencies too competitive to collaborate in any meaningful way, etc.
No. Bush bears no responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. That is ridiculous.
