A message from the “resistance” in the WH

Strange this is all happening around the release of Bob Woodward’s book, the Kavenaugh hearings and midterms. This is no different than the dossier and the
Russian collusion. Let’s see, they did a remake of the Pentagon Papers and we have references to Watergate with this person being compared to Deep Throat.
The democrats are all about drama and cloak and dagger.
This is all an attempt to wear down the
American people. Games, games and more games.
 
Have you ever thought that, perhaps, the constant scandals are precisely because of Trump rather than because of his enemies?

Except… the original quote doesn’t use “jerk” 🙂
 
Ok but there’s no way for this kind of stuff to NOT happen around other stuff. There’s a new revelation about the idiocy of our president literally every other day now. Not everything is some conspiracy theory, as much as you wish it were.

He had ample time to apologize too. Senator McCain suffered through cancer for a year.
 
the letter said there are a group of people, not just one person, working in the White House , to prevent stupid things happening.

I would read that as not just one decision in the ‘resistance’
 
No,it’s more about the apple cart having been upset by a political outsider. None of the Dems or the lefties saw this coming. There was talk of impeachment before Trump was even sworn into office.This whole Russoa collusion issue was in the works even before the election as a " plan b " to oust Trump in the unlikely event he should actually be elected. All the other so called scandals are just part of a continuing effort to bring him down.

Trump is anything but an idiot.He is going about the business of getting positive things accomplished all while he is hammered by the haters daily. Pretty brilliant I would say.thevones looking foolish are the ones that keep trying to bring him down.The more they act out the better he looks .

This really isn’t a good argument. McCain also had a year in which to patch things up with Trump, but there is no evidence that he tried. Instead, it looks like he took the occasion to hurl one last insult as he stepped into eternity. Others might see it differently, but it gives me the willies to think about it.
 
Of course it helps that your party controls all three branches of government while your accomplices are going to jail.

Senator McCain was not someone whose politics I shared.

That said, it seems to me that a lot of the hostility (posthumous and otherwise) that I’ve seen directed towards him here at CAF is simply because McCain didn’t fall into line behind President Trump.

In his speech to the Senate this past July, he said:
Whether or not we are of the same party, we are not the President’s subordinates. We are his equal!

And that seems to be at the heart of all this.

McCain was, of course, absolutely correct.
 
Okay - I read it - the presentations and tone of this essay is that of a Democrat Resistor - the Deep State use certain words they view as raising their higher power of knowledge and superior guidance. Now comes the chilling phrase “until - one way or another - it’s over.” This is a threat! The safety of the POTUS requires that this individual be found quickly. The author most likely did not use a pen and paper to write this - they will be identified and hopefully ASAP!

A “senior government official”, who knows he/she will be outed at some point, would not make a physical threat to the President.

This is referring to 25th amendment or impeachment. Both are 'possibilities.

Excuse me, you do not know who this is. It could be a low level administrative employee. Or, it could be a “senior government official” that has lost some sense of value for his/her opinions and power. It is not someone who is solid that is for sure.
