What does the bishop have to do with it? In my city, there are several churches that offer 24 hour Perpetual Adoration and some that do not. Isn’t up to the pastor? Circumstances like crime in an area and convenient access may force pastor to refuse such a request.

Then just go to a parish that offers it, even if you’re not a parishioner there.

It has to be approved by the Bishop. I know of Bishops that have eliminated it from the diocese altogether and of Bishops that have told priests they cannot have it even though the people are willing.

Oh I agree with you.

They are much more wacko, at least he has a very good reason for doing what he did. They just want more bling, evil bastards. But that does not mean that we run rampart outside of the law.

You know, if someone would have killed Michael Schiavo, then custody would have passed to her parents, but nobody advocated that. Why? Because it’s wrong!

Depends on circumstance. It would not have been wrong for a swat team of some variety to save Terri’s life. How you go about this is what matters. The focus is on getting her to safe haven and protecting her. If someone attempts to stop you with force then you should be able to use force to defend a life.

Legalized killings are wrong. How do we stop these wrongs? Not by arbitarily killing but by actively saving.

I do agree.

But please explain your swat team idea, so that I understand you better. If that was a civilian militia, then I disagree with that. They would not have had serious prospects of success.

I think he assumes that I am all for blowing up clinics, sniping abortion doctors, fire bombing abortion rallies, etc… all in the name of conservative politics.

Well, shucks. If we wanted to do that we could have the States march on Washington and demand our rights back by beheading socialist congressmen.
 
While I do not agree or condone the bomber’s violence, the abortion doctors andetc. are guilty of murdering innocent unborn children while the bomber is guilty is of murdering those guilty of murder. Make sense?

Either way, I believe in “thou shall not kill” and I hope God will have Mercy on the bomber, those killed and the unborn.
