Much of the evidence was difficult to interpret. The babies bodies, frozen had to be carefully thawed and the ME noted that this made autopsy difficult. The defense clearly scored points on the “reasonable doubt” issue but the ME said there would be no other reason to snip the neck of the baby.

My hope is that they are only stuck on some but not all of the murder charges and perhaps taking multiple votes. Also there are literally hundreds of other charges to consider, plus I believe he has a co-defendant who is also being considered. Also the concern with appeals based on the theory that Gosnell couldn’t get a fair trial. Again I hope and pray the jury is being very careful so that this verdict will stand.

There are a great number of charges (over 100 ranging from racketeering, not obeying the 24 hour consent law, illegal abortion and the murder charges) The jury needs to probably address each charge and vote on each charge. I’m sure that alone is time consuming.

Barbara Boxer is a moron.Does she really believe this or is it just a way to mitigate the horrible image of abortion created by the trial. So she thinks that other clinics have untrained teenagers giving anesthesia, cat feces everywhere, broken and contaminated equipment, dirty instruments, body parts in jars, in the freezer?

Is she KIDDING? I already replied to this one on FB.

Employees described babies moving, breathing, screaming, and even ‘swimming’ in a toilet after being born alive.”
Sooo…Boxer approves of this and claims it is standard practice at other medical clinics? Is there anything that would horrify her?

Yeah, pretty much. I think we’d all be astounded at just how common people like Kermit Gosnell (don’t even want to dignify him by calling him “Doctor”) really are. And by stating this, Boxer is saying that she accepts this as normal for abortion clinics. Thanks, Babs, Senator, Ma’am!

Yes, I’ve heard this discussed, thanks for this. This school of thought is being used as an excuse and shows up in comments sections unbelievably I have seen with some articles, this legal clinic is somehow like “back alley abortions”.
