The jury of seven women and five men are weighing more than 250 charges against the Gosnell with the most serious being four counts of first-degree murder.

It is currently unclear on which charges the jury is deadlocked, but the group told the court it has reached unanimous decisions on all other counts.

He has a codefendant so I’m wondering if any of the deadlock charges are hers?

Jurors are also deliberating a handful of crimes against Gosnell’s co-defendant Eileen O’Neill. Prosecutors say O’Neill deceived patients and insurance companies by pretending to be a licensed physician and billing for those services.

Jurors in the murder trial of a longtime Philadelphia abortion provider said Monday that they were divided on two of the more than 200 counts in the case, but the judge asked them to try again to reach a unanimous verdict.

It’s not clear which two counts have divided jurors. Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Minehart asked the panel to try to reach a unanimous verdict. The jury has been weighing the more than 200 counts in the case for 10 days.

Judges can eventually take a partial verdict and leave prosecutors to decide whether to retry the unresolved counts.

If its only 2 counts then that may not be a bad thing as he was charged with more than 2 murders. If I am not mistaken it would only take 1 murder conviction to send him away for the rest of his life if not execute him (which I think should be done in this case).

Just hear there is a verdict too, though what, I don’t know. “We are waiting” per Fox for the verdict to be read.

200 misdemeanor charges to go through I guess **besides the more major charges… **.

We know that earthly justice is going to be the least of his worries. I don’t even care what happens to him after the verdict. I suspect he will not be safe in prison. Apparently anyone who abuses children is a target for inmate violence.

What has been done by exposing his evil activities will change the prolife message. No longer will these stories be dismissed as “right wing myths.” So many people don’t know that late term abortions are even possible after PBA was outlawed. This shows that law simply stopped one method, it didn’t stop the evil practice.

According to the news I am seeing the verdict is currently being read in the courthouse and they are waiting for that to be done so that the reporters can leave the courthouse and come tell everyone the verdict.

I really wish they had cameras in this courtroom, at least for the reading of the verdict, but since the MSM seems to have just discovered this case exists, I am not surprised that there are not.

Chris Matthews is refreshing this topic every few minutes, as he was unaware of any such trial.
 
Still waiting. The judge made everyone in the court turn off electronic devices and the doors are supposedly barred. With about 250 charges it will take awhile.

With any luck, Progress Kentucky is inside secretly recording the verdict and will be providing updates ASAP.
