The problem is, i dont think some muslims are capable of thinking ourside the ‘islamic square’. They are told to do a,b & c, but when d is asked of them, panic breaks out.
If you are taught from a young age how to live, eat, sleep, talk, walk etc, there isnt much room to ‘think’. Its a robot mentality, a mentality thats hard to break.
Put it this way, if you have a child and tell them that 2+2 = 3, they will tell you this is wrong, its 4. But if your muslim and your told it equals 3 because muhammad told your so, they believe it, because they think he cant do no wrong.
You can show them all the evidence that 2+2=4, but they will just ignore it and say, its not in the quran.
Yep, it’s a robot mentality! Muslims are “programmed” with phrases like " the message of Islam is peace" when in actuality that phrase is contradicted by all the hate preached in the Quran.

Sister Amy keeps stating that women are treated well in Islam and that is denied by Muhammad’s statements in the Quran such as the one saying that women are stupid.

Another humdinger is the one about “Muhammad’s being sent as a mercy to all mankind”. What a whopper! That is belied by the cruelties of Muhammad as stated in their own scriptures and the awful deeds performed by his followers to this day in imitation of their “model for all mankind”!

They keep saying that the Quran is for all mankind, when it’s evident by the way it disparages others, that it was written only for his followers!

Eternal king? It really irks me how Christians take their own ideas about the Messiah and impose them on to Judaism. This entire paragraph is just such an example.
It also irks me how Muslims claim that the Bible is “corrupt” and yet twist its meaning to claim that their false prophet is prophesied in it!
There are more similarities than differences in the Jewish and Muslim views of the Messiah. You might not know it (probably you don’t) but Muslims believe Jesus is going to return to the earth, at an age where Islam will be the dominant religion on the earth and he will rule as khalifah.
And here’s more proof of that in this outrageous and farcical statement which is pure nonsense!
Yes, as usual Christians have made up their own theology to suit the popular mythology.
And Muhammad, with his super inflated ego which he has bequeathed to his followers, made up his own theology filled with hatred, sex, looting, raping, pedophilia, self serving “revelations” and false alter ego Allah!

There is no fighting in Islam to force people to convert.

There is fighting (if an Islamic state exists) to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to embrace Islam–in other words, to ensure that they have the freedom of religion! Islam will fight to establish justice on the earth. I don’t really think that’s “taking over” and it doesn’t mean establishing Shari’ah everywhere, or ever imposing it on anyone who doesn’t want it. But establishing it for those who want it, sure, by freeing minorities from persecution, sure.
So Islam is the only religion with the freedom to make converts!

What justice? For Muslims only and injustice for everyone else! Islam is all about inequality and lots of deception! Islam is a complete abomination. It not only imprisons and makes puppets of its followers by completely taking over their whole lives but imprisons their minds and turns them into nothing more than hate filled robots and zombies incapable of any rational thought. And therefore it ensures that Muslims will never question it’s monstrous and ridiculous beliefs with all its threats of hellfire for those who dare to ask questions.

Here are some recently reported - and documented - happenings:
In Mogul, Chaldean Christians have been beaten and attacked in their homes. If one of them is seen making the sign of the cross in public, Muslims have beaten them. Christians are not permitted to place a cross in public view. A Chaldean archbishop was attacked and killed by Muslims in northern Iraq not long ago, and Christian homes attacked – all in Muslim majority areas. An Italian Muslim reporter recently converted to Christianity and was baptized. He immediately received a number of death threats and fatwas calling for his death, all from Islamic sources. A man in Afghanistan was put to death not long ago for having converted to Christianity. There are plenty more such happenings that have been documented and archived. These are not fictitious at all; they are real.

The first part of your statement says it well: “There is fighting to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to embrace Islam --”; but the next part betrays a very different understanding: “in other words, to ensure that they have the freedom of religion!”

In light of the actions reported above, the only way that I can make sense of your claim to be acting on behalf of “freedom of religion” is that this phrase means that a person is free to embrace Islam, but nothing else! Those who do not embrace it are obliged to pay a tax, the jyzra, and are forced to accept severe limitations in the practice of their faith - harassment and even physical attacks, with little or no protection from the Muslim authorities. And if they protest, they are attacked again. If they refuse to pay the jyzra, they will be threatened severely, even with death, unless they leave and move elsewhere. [By the way, Chaldean Christians have been in that area for 2000 years, much longer than any Muslim.]

This is not our meaning of “freedom of religion”, which Islamic sources so often cite to justify their position. In effect, using this phrase in this way confuses, blurs, and muddles the discussion. If this is done in good faith, then let the truth emerge: your “freedom of religion” does not at all correspond to our “freedom of religion”. If this equivocation is done deliberately, then there is an element of dishonesty and deception that vitiates the discussion, and there will be no honest and good faith result.

I would hope that this second possibility is not the fact; we have to continue to observe the actions and behavior of Islamic communities who are in the majority in their areas in order to decide. So far, the record is not encouraging. Muslims demand freedom of religion for themseves when in the minority, but so far do not extend that same freedom to others when they are in control. That’s the historical record.

We ask and expect Muslim authorities to grant to those of other faiths the same freedom and tolerance Muslims demand - and receive - from us Western countries. But Muslim authorities, as in Iran and parts of Indonesia, have not and do not do so, no matter what they say to the contrary. So minorities in those countries are not freed from persecution – unless they become Muslim.

Such pressures to become Muslim contradict the original meaning of “freedom of religion”.

The Qur’an is certainly a miracle–and also a message. A miracle I can’t even begin to explain (seriously, I’m at a loss for words). I was reading something today about the use of the word “heart” in the Qur’an. Three different words in Arabic have been translated as heart. The first is “qalb” which implies the nature of the heart to keep changing and flipping. In the Qur’an when God talks about faith and diseases of the heart, He uses this word: qalb. Another word is “fu’aad” which implies the emotional power (fire) of the heart. When God talks about the feeling the mother of Moses had when she put him into the river, it says she had a “void in her heart” or something to that effect–and the word “fu’aad” is used. And thirdly, there is “sadr” which is kind of like the chest, where the heart goes. When God describes the whispers of Satan, for instance, into the ‘hearts’ of men, the word “sadr” is used for heart, meaning that Satan whispers into their chests but it is up to the person if he wants to open his heart up to those whispers.

The amazing subtlety of the Qur’an is just one facet of its magnificence. And it is only the people who don’t study it who refuse to acknowledge its miraculous nature.
i will not say you are naive because i know you don’t master the Arabic language neither have you read pre-Islamic poetry where these 3 words are used and understood yet no one called the poetry “divine speech”. After you master Allah’s language, go read pre-Islamic poetry.

I really hate when people bring up the “prophecies” argument about Jesus. It eases a lot of people’s minds, for sure, but is not substantial at all. The prophecies which Christians claim to be about Jesus are not understood in the same light by Jews. And when it comes to understanding Jewish scriptures, I’d be far more likely to trust the opinion of the Jews instead of the Christians. The fact that Jews reject the blasphemy of Christianity is a strong proof against it.

and the fact they reject Jesus proves what?

If Jesus says the scriptures are about Him, you prefer to believe the Jews yet unfortunately Muhammad inserted Jesus’ name in his book as the Messiah so you either believe Jesus or Jews, but obviously you prefer to believe the Jews because you cannot stand that hundreds of prophecies are about Jesus but when it comes to Muhammad, a deafening silence.
And the Qur’an is something far more amazing than that.

** In the name of Allah , the Most Gracious , Ever Merciful **

Salaam/ Peace

yes , it did/does 😃

Chosen people rejected him , brought nasty allegations against Mary (p) . Last Prophet (p) taught his followers not to believe in those false allegations.
  • the first followers of Christ were Jews, from amongst the Chosen People. That claim of yours is incorrect as it stands. From an historical and biblical standpoint it was more complex than your simplistic statement.
  • there is no evidence of nasty allegations against Mary by the Chosen People. That statement of yours is straight from the qur’an, 600 years later and by an illiterate person without any connection to the actual people involved. If you claim it came from allah, then it is further proof that allah is not YHWH.
  • mohammet used age old tactics of deny, revise and indoctrinate to produce his slaves in mind to do his vile demands.
Your allah never claimed the name of the Lord - YHWH. While no doubt you believe you are followers of the one true Lord, you are not and the qur’an is quite clear that allah is not YHWH for those whose eyes are not closed wide-shut.

Sounds like communism and instead of Stalin’s picture being put up in people’s houses to replace the crucifix, it is mohammed/allah and the black rock that they worship.

I highlighted Many …surely many does not mean All ?**

Since “many” is plural, it has to be more than one. “Many” is an indefinite quantity; it can be anywhere from 2 to infinity. On the practical side, though, it can’t exceed the population of the earth.

We’ve already seen quite a number of false prophets; Mohammed wasn’t the first.
Jesus (p) told u another comforter will come ; think about ’ That Prophet ’ .

I know these two posts are rather long, but I wanted to also post this if anyone keeps this as info for further dealings with muslims.
Thanks. I suspected that “Father” was not among them.

… It is like your parents telling you it is bad to steal from people and to beat them up, but then they would hire a tutor who says it is ok to steal and beat people up anyway.
Bad analogy. As you have observed, a parent is not one of the 99 names of Allah.

He probably got fired, and that’s why his name is forgotten.
To tell you the truth, it sounds more what a retired general would say. By the time an officer makes General - he is so politicized that he knows what to say and what not to say.

Usually outspoken - good - officers never make it past the Colonel ranks anymore. Even being a Colonel is political, but sometimes good officers make it to Colonel.

And not to bash all Generals, but Generals are led by the Pentagon and the President quite a bit. There is a point where I am sure a General’s viewpoint does get in the way and they are probably encouraged to give their letter of resignation, or they just do not agree and put in their letters of resignation willingly.

Some slots for General were also filled by ‘affirmative action’ people. We saw that a lot with blacks and women. Sorry, but in the late 1970s and early 1980s - women were not in some jobs and these positions could indeed be filled by women. Very few blacks were in the higher officer ranks, and the first woman General (in the USMC) was a Colonel that was my Colonel during bootcamp.

The Army was more integrated, but don’t kid yourself it too had to be pushed to more fully integrate.

The officer ranks were not something that I aspired to go into. It is a backstabbing group if they make it past 1st Lt. Enlisted people have more respect for the Warrent Officers and officers that come up through the enlisted ranks. But, they never make it to General - usually Lt.Col or Captain is the highest they can make it to. I don’t know anyone who made it past those two ranks. There could be some - I just didn’t know any and I was in almost 10 years.

No. The quote apparently says “valid and proper.” A prayer is defective if it’s not offered in the correct time. But if a person misses the prayer, he is supposed to make it up right away, as soon as he remembers or wakes up or whatever. The prayer is an obligation–something that we owe to God, something He commanded us to do. And part of the commandment is that it be in a certain time. If the prayer is outside of that time, then obligation was not adequately fulfilled.
And if a prayer is “defective” what does that mean in terms of acceptance by God? God will only listen to prayers said at certain times and only if one cleans themselves and their area in a certain way?

I obviously have no problem with prayers being said :gopray2: - I just don’t understand the concept of some prayers being “valid and proper” or some being “defective” unless it is in terms of the intent and the heart of the person offering the prayer. Prayers that appear pious on the outside can be displeasing to God if the person is not an upright person.
“If the heart is wicked, the acts it performs, no matter how pious or moral, are an abomination to God.” John Piper
Perhaps all of these requirements are an attempt to put each person offering the prayer in the right frame of mind so to speak. ?? In which case that would be admirable. But they would then be more of suggestions as opposed to requirements.

As an example, I would think that a person who hasn’t had time or resources/access to shower before prayer can offer just as pleasing a prayer to God as someone who went through the required cleaning rituals. And, ultimately only God can know the state of one’s heart. :highprayer:

I also found this information regarding Islamic prayer. Does anyone know if this is an authentic Islamic teaching?
Punishment for Missing Prayers
A python will be let loose in the grave of one who used to neglect his or her prayers. This python will sting continuously with such a vicious bite and intense venom that bones will crack and break over and over. The grave will be dark and cramped where the buried person will be alone with no one to hear his or her agonizing cries. Muslims everywhere need to reflect on such severe consequences whenever they even think about delaying a prayer or missing it entirely.
A Terrifying Angel in the Grave
Allah will assign an angel to the grave of one who missed his or her prayers, one with long fangs and nails whose mere appearance would invoke terror. Black in complexion, the angel will have long hair and his nostrils will be spewing smoke. He will then extend his hand towards the grave inhabitant’s face and the person will scream in terror.
This person would calmly miss his or her prayers without even a second thought but would be frightened very easily by the sound of a creaking door. Now when such a person is locked in a dark grave with such a horrific creature as this angel this will indeed be terrifying.
There will be no one to listen to this person’s screams or see his or her tears. This angel will be devoid of anything that can be termed mercy, and will come closer to his victim and show his long fangs. It will have a mallet in his hand with which he will strike his victim so that the latter is pushed seventy lengths into the earth. The person will then return and the angel will strike again, sending his victim back into the earth seventy lengths.
If Fajr was missed then this angel will keep striking this person thus from Fajr to Dhuhr, and if Dhuhr was missed then he will be struck thus continuously from Dhuhr to Asr. This process will continue likewise until the Day of Judgment.
**People may doubt, mock and even dismiss this as tales to scare children, but the Prophet’s words are true and those who disbelieve will see with their own horrified eyes after their death. Allah has transmitted these warnings to us through the noble mouth of the Messenger of Allah and all of us should pray that these realities enter our hearts. ** tasawwuf.org/writings/sermons/khutbat_tenv1.htm

Because Islam claims that the Bible was corrupted. So the next logical questions are, what parts have been corrupted and how? You’ve been asked before by others, and we still haven’t received your answers.
and we never will…

Well for one thing, this quote you posted shows that Muhammad knew nothing about pythons since he believed they’re poisonous!

And as for the rest of it, I guess it’s what Muslims call “the life in the grave”. I’ve tried to get good explanations and have never got anything satisfactory. And the horror stories of what happens to people in the grave are more of the scare tactics to keep Muslims enslaved to the Islamic cult.

It boggles the mind why anyone would want to worship and follow such a cruel and malicious god such as allah. There is not love compassion or forgivness with this thing. Its really mind blowing! 🤷
