The amazing subtlety of the Qur’an is just one facet of its magnificence. And it is only the people who don’t study it who refuse to acknowledge its miraculous nature.

There is a lot of subtlety in Shakespeare’s works, but that doesn’t prove they are miraculous.

I’m not investigating all of them to find out if they are representing Islam properly, but it doesn’t seem that they are an authority at all. The leader of an organization does not an authority make, not on Islam. You should refer to scholars. My own shaykh, for instance, or you can visit a number of sites where you can find real authentic scholars who have such authority (islamqa.com, islamonline.net, islamicity.com, and AMJA are some examples of sites where you can find actual scholars who have authority.)

So some leaders interpret Islamic scripture one way, and others interpret them a different way. And they all interpret writings not subject to human interpretation. Now that’s what I call a miracle!!

There is no fighting in Islam to force people to convert.

There is fighting (if an Islamic state exists) to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to embrace Islam–in other words, to ensure that they have the freedom of religion! Islam will fight to establish justice on the earth. I don’t really think that’s “taking over” and it doesn’t mean establishing Shari’ah everywhere, or ever imposing it on anyone who doesn’t want it. But establishing it for those who want it, sure, by freeing minorities from persecution, sure.

There was fighting from Medina all the way to France and to the gates of Vienna to free minorities from persecution and to ensure freedom of religion. What a laugh. This is getting more entertaining all the time.

This is another thing that they won’t listen to. They think that after all of Jesus’ preaching and miracles that He would send a bloodthristy, lustful, enslaver - mohammed! It is like your parents telling you it is bad to steal from people and to beat them up, but then they would hire a tutor who says it is ok to steal and beat people up anyway. :hypno:

That is what they think this refers to. Of course, it doesn’t add up - but that never was a problem for muslims since they have to keep justifying and defending their greedy warlord. (Greedy for loot and slaves.)

Jesus told his apostles to wait in Jerusalem for the coming of the Advocate, who would dwell within them, so that’s more proof that Islam’s claims about Muhammad’s being the advocate are just plain nonsense.
