Nope. Islam is a stand-alone faith. It has everything it needs, contained in the Qur’an. Christianity could completely change in the next century or so, and Islam would still be correct. Christianity could completely disappear and Islam would still be just as correct. There is no dependency.Yes it does - Islam has to prove Christianity is false in order to be valid. Since Christianity existed before Muhammad, Muhammad has to say Jesus did not die on the cross, was not resurrected and the Bible has been corrupted. Without these assertions by Muhammad, Christianity stands. It was revealed through Jesus.

Islam is the culmination, one could say, of the Judeo-Christian tradition. So no matter what you want to validate in Christianity, it is still trumped by Islam.
