Yes it does - Islam has to prove Christianity is false in order to be valid. Since Christianity existed before Muhammad, Muhammad has to say Jesus did not die on the cross, was not resurrected and the Bible has been corrupted. Without these assertions by Muhammad, Christianity stands. It was revealed through Jesus.
Muhammad is the one changing Jesus’ message through the Quran.
Nope. Islam is a stand-alone faith. It has everything it needs, contained in the Qur’an. Christianity could completely change in the next century or so, and Islam would still be correct. Christianity could completely disappear and Islam would still be just as correct. There is no dependency.
What would you like validated about Christianity without attacking Islam?
The only parts of Christianity which are valid are those confirmed in the Qur’an.

Islam is the culmination, one could say, of the Judeo-Christian tradition. So no matter what you want to validate in Christianity, it is still trumped by Islam.

You put that much faith on the words of a man who approved of lying? Wow!

Vickie
Actually, I put that much faith in the Qur’an before I knew anything at all about Muhammad–and the more I learn about him, the more I trust him. 🙂

Sister Amy;4799409]The Apostasy being referred to is treason–that’s why it’s not enough just to quote bits and pieces, you need to look at the bigger picture.
So in Islam, all apostasy is treason? I thought there was no compulsion in religion. This would suggest otherwise. That first statement quoted by the sheik says absolutely nothing about treason.
Where do you come up with three days anyway? I thought I heard that the Catholic Church burned people at the stake for being “heretics.”
From the quote!
(4) The apostate is not to be killed without warning. Even though his crime is so great, he is given a last chance, a respite of** three days **in which to repent. If he repents, he will be left alone; if he does not repent, then he will be killed.
Your second statement is pure deflection. I thought we were discussing Islam and quotes by an Islamic sheik.
I believe the miracle that I can see, how about that? You believe the ones you’ve only heard about.
“Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)

And no offense, but the Quran is not a miracle. Jesus’ resurrection is a miracle. Jesus’ healings are miracles. Padre Pio’s stigmata is a miracle. The image on Juan Diego’s tunic is a miracle. A book that conflicts with and contradicts previous prophets is not a miracle (although maybe only in the sense that so many people would be duped by it.)

It doesn’t say the prayer is “void,” does it?

A muslim is supposed to pray five times a day–those times are a little specific. This is the ritual prayer, mind you.

Other prayers a person can offer whenever they want. 🤷
Perhaps I’m misunderstanding the words then.
There are fourteen things called the Fard (imperative) parts which have to be fulfilled for the Prayer to be valid and proper
In Islam are invalid and void not the same thing? Sorry if I misunderstood. 🙂

Yawn.

Do you think all sites which quote the Bible and are made by Christians are authoritative?
Instead of deflecting, are you specifically saying that this group is not an authority and is misrepresenting Islam?

How about these:
‘Islam will enter every house’
Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar: Religion of Islam will take over entire world
Islam will enter “every house” and become the dominant religion across the entire planet, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said during a mass rally in Gaza this week.

Zahar was previously the Palestinian Authority’s foreign minister. He spoke at a rally held for the late Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin, and his comments were translated by the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) organization.
“The prophetic foundation is the message of the prophet Muhammad, that Islam will enter every house and will spread over the entire world,” Zahar was quoted as saying.

Imam Abdul Alim Musa is the founder and director of the As-Sabiqun movement, **which aims to “enable Islam to take complete control of … the lives of all human beings on Earth.” **He serves as director of Masjid Al-Islam in Washington, DC, and is a senior member of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought (ICIT) – a pro-Iranian, pro-Hezbollah, Islamist think tank. Musa also sits on the governing body of the Muslim Alliance of North America, which is headed by Siraj Wahhaj. In addition, Musa is a frequent speaker on American college campuses, often at the invitation of the Muslim Student Union and chapters of the Muslim Students Association. In 2004 the San Francisco Bay View described Musa as “one of the highest-ranking Islamic leaders in the Black community, nationwide and specifically in the Islamic movement.”

The As-Sabiqun movement is an Islamic movement/organization under the leadership of founder Imam Abdul Alim Musa. It is based in Washington, D.C., and has branches in Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and Philadelphia.
The paramount goal of the movement is the establishment of Islam as a complete way of life in America. This ultimate goal is predicated on the belief—shared by many Muslims worldwide—that Islam is fully capable of producing a working and just social, political, economic order.

Specifically with this last group, if they are not an authority and are misrepresenting Islam then Muslims in America should be rallying and protesting against them - not inviting them to speak on college campuses.

What “science”?
sedonama, here’s a site to check out about some of allah’s pseudo science claims :-

islam-guide.com/

The booklet, which is available on the site to read, is also distributed all over the world. Only two weeks ago when I attended a pro-terrorist, pro-Hamas, pro-wipe Israel off the map rally, they were giving this booklet out, together with other propaganda. I got one of each 😃 . The young man was very helpful.

The booklet is called “A Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam” or put another way, Islam for Dummies Who Think Pretty Pictures Make Things Real.

I think every religion is a stand-alone faith. ??? Christianity doesn’t depend on Islam either. But Christianity was revealed through Jesus first. So, in order for Islam to be valid, Christianity has to be disproved or changed.
The only parts of Christianity which are valid are those confirmed in the Qur’an.
Exactly my point. In order to make Islam valid Muhammad had to eliminate and change everything that conflicted with his immoral lifestyle.
Islam is the culmination, one could say, of the Judeo-Christian tradition. So no matter what you want to validate in Christianity, it is still trumped by Islam.
No it isn’t. It contradicts Christianity left and right. And it contradicts the Ten Commandments.

Why should Islam have to explain Christianity?
Because Islam claims that the Bible was corrupted. So the next logical questions are, what parts have been corrupted and how? You’ve been asked before by others, and we still haven’t received your answers.

Yawn.

Do you think all sites which quote the Bible and are made by Christians are authoritative?
And you didn’t answer the question. How is your definition of “take over the world” different? I contend that Islam will fight every non-Muslim in every land until they either convert to Islam or live subject to Islamic/Sharia law. To me, that is “take over the world.”

Actually, I put that much faith in the Qur’an before I knew anything at all about Muhammad–and the more I learn about him, the more I trust him. 🙂
wow, you believe in a man that marries children, kills, allows lying… etc etc etc etc.
May Jesus open your eyes to the truth one day!

Why should Islam have to explain Christianity? That doesn’t even make sense.

correct, how can someone explain that which he proved he did not understand? yet islam is supposed to reveal and explain what came before it.
You have the problem though of not being able to prove that Christ was actually crucified–

Nope. Islam is a stand-alone faith. .
false because Islam is supposed to continue/reveal/explain/fulfill previous scriptures and as such is in debt to previous scriptures to prove the identity and teachings of Muhammad and therefore must be scrutinized based on previous scriptures, not the other way round, otherwise we end up with Islam, JW, Mormonism and what have you of cult leaders who were visited by “angels”. Now Islam is a stand-alone religion because scriptures oppose it and warn against it . The belief in one God is not a reason you start a religion for even demons know there is one God.

InJesus,
Your responses and knowledge never cease to amaze me.
Keep up the good work and may Lord Jesus bless you for your peaceful approach and good works.
:yeah_me:

Thank you for this post, inJesus. 🙂 I should have clarified in my earlier post that Christianity does not depend on Islam, but does fulfill the previous scriptures and prophecies of Judaism and the Old Testament. (Sorry about that. 😊 )

Who says Shari’ah is difficult to implement? How did you come to that conclusion? It’s not so much that it’s difficult but that people aren’t committed to it. They rather prefer the corrupt western model where they can enjoy the fruits of this world instead of establishing justice.

well you see, when it comes to Jesus, we have the OT to “look” for Him, hundreds of prophecies and fulfillments and quotations explaining and fulfilling the scriptures like a puzzle (strange since both are “corrupt”)…but when it came to muhammad, there is neither OT nor NT but a totally different book, compliled according to “length” ,not theme , with no harmony whatsoever, contradicting previous scriptures and yet it is supposed to be God’s “masterpiece”.

Hey, waitaminnit. If Islam is a “stand-alone” faith, why does it claim to originate with Abraham? Why are Moses and Jesus part of your faith? Why does the Qur’an have to “confirm” parts of Christianity if Islam is a stand-alone faith?
