We’re trying to defend the church from Satan and the demonic, which is at the center of idolatrous actions, such as the allowing of these pagan idols inside our churches.

Why are you so quick to defend them?

Apparently some Catholics are willing to defend the Vatican even if they clearly stated that they are housing idols in churches, truly sad. I don’t think that we have any icons or statues of Venice or other Roman gods in the Churches being placed upon altars. If the Church was able to exorcise the paganism of Europe it can also do the same in the Amazon. The church was able to evangelize the Amazonian people before V2’s walk with ecumenism started. God must be truly angered at this sacrilege and the sacrilegious that occurred at the Assisi World Days of Prayer in which prayers to other gods (demons) where ushered. The church should be offering reparation for such sacrileges.

I am in the same spot that you are in @ (name removed by moderator) My parents never went to mass. I am also a revert who hopes that Catholics can wake up from the sleep of modernism. Our church is on fire and some of our clergy are adding more kindle to the fire. Lord Have Mercy

So, isn’t this saying praise God because what He has created is doing what it is supposed to do rather than praise the Earth because it is some kind of mother type deity producing for us on her own?

I don’t see where it mentions “Mother Earth” as some thing created in the image and likeness of God either, as we are.

Mary is our Blessed Mother and the Church is our Mother and Teacher

As we may kiss a child and give thanks, as we may sit around the table as a family and give thanks…
The deity part is yours to say it somehow.
Also the CCC doesn t use capital letters so it isn’t the “ name” of a person .
Take your time , Magdalena and Crusader . No need to rush through this. .

The Vatican has clarified 3x that this object is not the Virgin Mary. Case closed. End of discussion.

Bravo, bravo. So the bible is old so who cares and the saints are old so who cares. If yoy want modernist idols take it out of the church and allow people who want to practice the faith to practice it. Also the church it was in is actually property of the believers so it isnt theft to remove them.
 
Plus would anyone honestly want to say that this ugly and fully naked woman w/ n!pples showing is an icon of the BVM, the mother of modesty and purity? Wouldn’t that be borderline sacrilegious? That’s probably why the Vatican clarified 3x, it’s not the BVM. It’s a fertility idol.

So, are you saying that others, such as myself, do not see and understand what you see and understand? Because in all charity, I believe I understand what is happening unless you can show me something different and show me where I am wrong.
