I agree with you on all accounts. Except yesterday Taylor was my favorite performance. I like him and Chris very much. Although I didn’t even know their names well til yesterday.
 
Can anyone believe “Squishy”, AKA “Chicken Little” made it through this round?
 
I’m thinking some are voting for Kevin because they see it as a prank…of course its not a nice but possible…

I think it surpised Ace to be in bottom three…
Oh Well…

Lets see how they do next week
 
I cannot believe Kevin wasn’t in the bottom 3! I think even he was shocked! How Lisa could’ve been one of the 3 but not him… What’s America thinking!!! Next week I hope he goes…
 
I was stunned. Kevin should have been gone. Melissa next week. Lisa bored me; Ace was ok, but not bottom three material. It was a shocker.
 
Kevin’s performance stunk… plain and simple. I had to mute my TV after about 5 seconds of his singing. Even my kids had their hands over their ears.

Ace is too conceited and is riding his looks. And that right there kills it for me… talent or not.

I don’t care for Bucky or Elliot because I really don’t think they are AI material.

Paris is starting to get stuck on herself too.

Chris, Taylor, Mandisa are still my favs as they show talent. 👍

Not only did he not get kicked out … he was not even in the bottom 3!!!

Looks like he’ll be around for a while more. hahahahha

Melissa … well, sooner or later anyway … as long as Taylor, Chris and Mandy are the last 3, I don’t quite care when, or in which sequence, the rest go out.
 
I wish they would change the voting system so our votes counted for who we wanted to go home… rather than who we wanted to stay. I have been voting for Mandisa because she has an awesome voice and I’m afraid she might not get as many votes because she doesn’t have the “hot looks” of an idol… but I actually want Taylor to win. So what if I’m busy voting for her… and someone else is busy voting for Ace because althought they don’t want him to win, they don’t want him going home just yet… and no one is voting for Taylor or Chis because OBVIOUSLY they are the BEST… and then bam! One of them gets sent home? And yet we still have Kevin… who we all AGREE should be next to go?

I said to my Husband last night that every nerd in the Country was voting for Kevin. Yep. 🤓 It’s" Revenge of the Nerds!" I think Kevin could sing on Broadway, but I just can’t see him as the American Idol. Everyone has a following, and he could be in this for a while.

You do realise it’s quite simple … if you want Taylor to win, you DON’T vote for Mandy… you vote for … Taylor

hahahahah yeah … although I hope he knows he cannot win … then again, probably not … if AI has taught me one thing, it’s that there are a lot of delusional people out there who think they can sing!

That does seem to make sense, but I have to admit, I vote also for people that I want to stay around for awhile even if I know they won’t make it all the way. I feel if they make it to the top 6 they have a better chance of being notice by people who may help them in their careers.

Besides, voting for Mandisa, Chris and Taylor is tough, you can’t even get through. So I vote for some of the others first and then vote for my real favorites later when the lines open up more. Redial is a wonderful thing!

Yes, I’m getting sucked into it this year! I caught the fever. :o
 
Here is my theory regarding the kick off phenomena: The entire vote is generally divided by genre. For instance;

Country
Bucky
Kellie

Rock/Blues
Chris
Taylor

Pop/Hip Hop
Ace
Elliot

R&B
Mandissa
Paris
Lisa

Etc etc… The vote gets stacked because people generally pick one or two based on their taste in music. So, for example, a greater ammount of people prefer Mandisa to Lisa, or Elliot to Ace for whatever reason and place their votes there. And then Ace and Lisa end up at the bottom. The vote is divided according to genre. That is why last year - you couldn’t have Constantine and Bo in the final, you just can’t divide the genre vote.
I would hope to have Chris and Taylor in the end. But I wonder if two people from similar genre’s can maintain enough votes? The same kind of people who like one like the other. Vote divided.

One exception, Chicken Little. :rolleyes: I think he defies any explanation other then he has the ‘kiddie’ vote cornered.

Yes, he is an enigma.

But if you’re right … I think a lot of parents are gonna get a big shock in their phone bills at the end of the month!
 
I just saw in an interview where Simon Cowell predicted the final three to be Chris, Taylor, and Kellie.
Personally I think it will be Chris, Taylor, and Kathrine.
I bet that hacks off the other contestants to hear Simon make that prediction. But I think it’s ok - don’t you?

I don’t know…Simon usually has a good idea but for me other than saying Chris and Taylor…I’m not so sure…
 
Has anyone looked/heard of the site votefortheworst.com? Sorry Kevin (i.e. chicken little) fans, the fix is on!

These people highjacked the votes one year voting for Scott Savol.
