You are probably right. I have always been very street wise… so beyond my years so I just can’t relate to anyone who doesn’t know what I think is so obvious. But maybe she lived a very sheltered life?

Do you really like Chris the best? More than Taylor - whom I LOVE?

I like Chris…Taylor,too. Or at least I think one of them will win…

Kellie is okay.

I really like Mandisa…but don’t think she’ll win.

I don’t think Lisa or Buckey will go much longer…

Carol Marie I really like Taylor, and if he doesn’t win it will be sad to see him go - but he will have a big career. I thought his last performance was really cool, but left him vulnerable to criticism. I hope he brings his best next week.
Its funny, at some point you just want to go “cant we just pick NOW?” 😃
 
I really like Chris and Mandisa.

Such totally different genres and styles it’s hard to pick a “best” between them since they are both so good. Both should succeed regardless of the final outcome.
 
Tonight I thought Taylor was the best. Chris was probably very good if you like that kind of music… I don’t so he didn’t do it for me. I thought Mandisa seemed to be shouting.

I think Bucky will go home. Although I missed Lisa… only saw that the judges gave her the big thumbs down. Was she that bad?
 
I agree, I thought Taylor was the best all around, I also liked Elliott and Katherine.

Chris and Mandissa, I agree with Simon, they both went a little too far, they won’t reach a broad audience with those choices.

Paris - very talented, too raunchy tonight, I think she sold out. She was acting somewhat church going up till now, she shook that off for good I think. I haven’t warmed up to her yet, don’t think it’s going to happen for me.

Everyone else - very mediocre, really dissappointing.

It will come down to Bucky or Lisa leaving, IMHO. 😦
 
On the whole, it was a very disappointing show tonight. I think Taylor performed the best and I agree with Simon :eek: that Chris needs to change it up a little. I usually love Mandissa and Elliot but didn’t like their song choices tonight. Katherine was a little off tonight but I still think she’s beautiful and talented.

I’m tired of Kelly and there’s something about Paris that turns me off. And what was up with Ace tonight? Showing off that scar?

My choice for the bottom three:
Lisa
Bucky
Ace

Lisa will go home.

She was trying to do her very best Beyonce-- so the raunchier, the better. She is trying to show her appeal to different demographics, so she had to throw some sexpot into the mix.

The older I get, the less I like that stuff. I’ve always been uncomfortable with it, but now, I just change the channel, it’s nothing but soft porn if you ask me, not much left to the imagination. :o
 
Kelli and Ace both almost made me barf. How are they even still in the competition? Awful. Bucky did okay, but he needs to go. Elliott was my fave.

You know Simon was saying almost the same only in a different way…then he gets slamed for it…

What Paula did was not good…she was gushing to her…saying the ‘Pussycat Dolls’ were going to call…

not in good taste for me…

I think Kellie did okay…but I’m not too fond of country music…

my fav tonight was Mandisa…

I think Bucky or Lisa will go home…but who knows?

I’m not saying I like it either, just saying it was more of an impersonation than anything else.
 
I thought Paula and Ryan were so out of line with there comments to Mandisa about people coming to “worship” at the “church/religion” of Mandisa.

I died a little for her when they said that, as I know she is a woman of faith.

I love that Mary Mary song that Mandisa sang. I love Mandisa, but I did not love them together tonight.

My faves are Christ and Taylor. They were both awesome.
Totally did not love Katharine tonight- could not see how the judges liked that song. ugh.

I’m thinking Lisa is going home next week. Why oh why would she pick a Kelly Clarkson song? dear me.

For once, I’m going to agree with Simon (and Randy) about tonight…the show was like watching singers in a karaoke bar!

The whole point of the show’s theme (songs of the millenium) was to see how well these singers would do in today’s market - and sadly, a lot of them failed badly!!! The only one I really saw go beyound everyone else’s performances was Taylor. I can close my eyes, and still enjoy listening to him sing!

Other high…er, I mean low-lights:

Kellie - what happened! Bad song choice!

Katherine - heard this sung like that too many times in karaoke bars!

Buckey - could-a, should-a, would-a; but didn’t.

Lisa - see Kellie’s remarks.

I hope next week’s show is better… 😦

He looked like he threw on clothes to run up to the 7-Eleven for a gallon of milk!:rolleyes: Chris, Taylor & Katherine are always good singers IMO but were boring last night. Ace gives me the creeps and I don’t like his voice or song choices at all, ever. Mandisa seemed to be screaming though I normally like her singing. Lisa was crazy to attempt Kelly Clarkson’s latest hit, it was not good. Kelly 's song choice was bad too. Paris annoys me and I don’t care for Bucky’s singing. That’s it in a nutshell for me.😃

I have to admit that Elliott ha been my fave from the beginning, but as for his makeover… He needs his teeth redone, and they aren’t going to do it in the middle of a competition. It would affect his voice. Just watch…He will get a manager after AI that will hide him away for a year, totally redo his look, then release an album. I’ll buy it!
 
Last nights show was a DUD. My favs last night were Taylor and Pickler…I agree with Simon…she’s a “MINX”…I could come out of confession and easily have her turn my head and think “MINXY” things! 😃

My favs are Pickler, Mandisa, Chris & Taylor. The Creed song was over the edge I find myself agreeing more with Simon than the other two.
 
What’s up with Katherine being in the bottom 3? I sooooo would’ve put Bucky there instead. I think she has a beautiful voice & she’s very pretty… but I wonder who votes for her? I think young girls vote for Paris or Chris or maybe Ace because he’s good looking (not to me though… totally CREEPS me out when he stares into the camera) I think older women ( and men… do men vote?) vote for Mandisa & Chris & Taylor… so who’s going to vote in droves for Katherine? Which is too bad because she’s more talented IMO than Bucky, Ace, Paris or Kelly. I think Elliot probably has the same problem.
