Wow! What a horrible little sick-o website. :mad: They are mean and that site gives me the creeps. If they have any kind of following - it may explain why chicken little lingers around and the likes of Gideon and Malissa get kicked off. I’m still ticked about Gideon. Not that I thought he could win, but he sure deserved to be in the top 12.

Yuck is right. And that’s totally unfair to Kevin because although I don’t think he is idol material in the least - it’s terrible that anyone would use him for some sort of sick prank. He seems like an OK sort of kid and he deserved his fair shot and should’ve been allowed to go home with his head held high.

Mean people stink. :mad:
 
So I thought they all did a good job tonight. I think either Bucky or Lisa will go. Bucky’s song was boring & I thought that Lisa was a bit off tempo. My favorite tonight was either Madissa or Chris.

I think Paula’s comment was correct - Chris already seems like he should be touring - selling tickets.

I wasn’t as impressed with Taylor tonight… he didn’t jazz it up or improv like he normally does. I do love him though.

I’m bored with Katherine, Paris & Elliot (is that his name… Elliot Yammine… something like that… gosh I’m so bored with him I can’t even remember his name) anyhow, I think they all sing well, but I don’t get a strong vibe from them.

I think Kevin needs to go home. It’s way past his bedtime.

Kellie was good …I predict she will go somewhere in the top 5.

My favs tonight were Chris and Mandisa…
 
I agree, Mandisa did great tonight, as always really, she just shines. **Chris ** nailed his song, even if he got voted off tonight (never happen), he’s gonna get his ticket to fame from this show, no doubt about it.

Taylor is my favorite all round performer, and I agree this was not his best, but he’s still the one that gets me moving when he’s on stage. No one else they have does that.

Katherine has an amazing voice, but she needs to get some spark going or something, it’s like she’s on Xanax.

I think Elliott has an amazing voice, but he’s not knocking them dead either. I think the jazz genre is going to kill him eventually.

Bucky and Kellie and Ace have a good fan base, I think they will hang in there a few more weeks. I like Kellie, but no one can be that dumb, can they?

Paris, there’s something going on there. The judges are not thrilled with her, I think she’s somehow blown it with them, something happening behind the scenes. They gave her a nod tonight but were not throwing anything extra her way.

Kevin needs to be the one to go, but I think it may be** Lisa ** instead, she didn’t nail it tonight, she has a good voice but something is missing in her performances.
 
Chris *BLEW *me away tonight!! I am amazed how he can take such a familiar song like “I Walk The Line” and turn it into an phenomenal alt-rock song! He’s the first one out of the 4 previous years that I feel is better than American Idol…
 
Okay. What blew me away last night was that Barry Manilow said that he didn’t know the song “Walkin’ After Midnight” by Patsy Cline! He blamed it on being from Brooklyn:rolleyes: . I thought the best vocals last night were : Mandisa, Chris, Katherine & Elliott.
 
I’d like to see Bucky go. That’ guy can’t even sing.

But, if it isn’t Bucky, it should be either Ace, Lisa or Kevin. None of those people can sing worth anything. They should’ve been kicked-off a long time ago.

While I have always been a Taylor fan, tonight was Chris’ night. That fellow’s got charisma. I hate to admit it but I think he may very well be this year’s winner. It’s gonna be close.

Is it just me or are the judges, even Simon, just caving in? I could NOT recognise Simon today … he was giving out way too much praise. Must be a new tactic they’re taking to boost call ins or something.
 
Keepers -
Chris - Like someone else said - this guy is better then AI, huge star.
Taylor - who needs to do better then he did last night.
Mandisa - Wow!
Katherin - Great talent, but needs to ramp it up soon too.

Borderline -
Elliot - I really like listning to him, but I have a problem with his weak delivery.
Paris - Personal taste I guess. Too loud maybe, and annoying.
Kellie - The dumb blonde act is grating on me.
Ace - I am suspicious of anyone who is prettier then me.

Gotta Go -
Bucky - There’s a honky tonk band somewhere needing a lead singer.
Lisa - Bored me to tears last night.
Chicken Little - He actually did his best last night, but it aint enough.

My prediction - Bucky is leaving tonight. It should be Kevin, but votefortheworst.com and pre-teens are keeping him alive.

My thought of the week is that I think the Simon-bashing is going over the top. I wish they would tone it down a bit. It seems a bit rude and juvenile.
 
What I find interesting is that everyone (Contestants, Audience, Ryan & Other Judges) all moan and groan when Simon says, “That was appalling!”. Yet, when he says something complimentary like he did with Katharine last night (“You are a star.”), you can see that it’s just the nod the contestants are hoping for. So, it’s great to hear all of the “fluff” from Randy and Paula, but deep down, I think the contestants know Simon speaks the truth.

I feel the same but I also think that Kevin could sing alot better than Bucky. I can see Kevin singing on stage somewhere, maybe in a Broadway musical. I think Bucky will be next to go…

I agree that Kevins voice was more pleasant than Bucky’s, but I liked Bucky’s style, and I thought he had more showmanship than Kevin. But I also agree if Bucky doesn’t step up a give a great performance next week, he’s a gonner.
 
I am getting very tired of Kelly’s “I am such a hick who knows nothing” routine. When Simon said the song she picked was “ballsy” (Balls - ee) how is that spelled? anyhow… she was like, “What’s that?”

Oh brother… who hasn’t heard of that word?

And not to be nit-picky but I did not care for her yellow t-shirt stretched over her butt with a belt from the 80’s outfit. I saw on Current Affair or one of those shows that she was actually wearing 2 t-shirts, layered that cost $65.00 each. What a rip off. They looked like Wal-Mart to me.

Anyway…too early to tell if its truly an act…

I like her but Chris is the best…
I have predicted…Kellie will probably last till the final 5 or 4…

I was watching a few seconds here and there, but I basically missed the whole show. I really want to see Chris’ performance.

I actually watch the performances as rickey brings them online. He is in NY and I am in CA, so I get the results and performances early and I don’t have to sit through Paula and Simon bickering.

You are probably right. I have always been very street wise… so beyond my years so I just can’t relate to anyone who doesn’t know what I think is so obvious. But maybe she lived a very sheltered life?

Do you really like Chris the best? More than Taylor - whom I LOVE?
