It’s funny but when the temperatures warm up everyone gets outside and goes to working… Keeps a person so busy and tired after a LONG winter’s nap. But don’t get too used to it… Spring will fool you and start acting like a little winter again… Still, it’s nice to see the leaves and flowers starting to come out… and grass turn green, slowly…
 
Our temps are upper 70s F today and tomorrow. And then they drop into the 40s with a chance of snow for a few days. :roll_eyes:
 
An explanation is in order … on another forum, we sometimes build smiley pyramids. That’s what I was trying to do here.

There was a fellow who had been asking for prayers for some time. I’m not sure of his C.A. name but his real name, & possibly his name here, was Bill Karabinus. He passed away five or more years ago.
A good friend I met here on Catholic Answers has also passed: Peggy of Burien. I did not even know it until I saw some related posts on Facebook from her daughters. She left us a year or two ago.
I believe that I’m still alive. I’ve got a doctor’s app’t tomorrow. I’ll ask if I’m going to die sometime or not.
 
Thanks for the info. I don’t remember Bill, but I definitely remember Peggy. I’ll keep her in my prayers this Holy Week. :cry:🙏

I’m a poker player – well, I used to be, but haven’t played in over a year now – so I thought you were bidding. 😄

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that, and I’m especially sad that I lost contact with her before she passed away.

She was one of my CAF “friendships” where I exchanged a few messages (usually a few poignant details about our hometown) and shared a bit of fun/seriousness in the forums.

I noticed that she hadn’t posted for a long time. 😦

Wasn’t Peggy agent “99” in your ongoing gags from “Get Smart”? 🤣:roll_eyes:.
