It rained a little while ago. The evening is refreshing and cool… 🙂

I want Chinese food for dinner. 🥢 (I think those are supposed to be chopsticks, but they look like matchsticks, or the mallets my kids use to play the xylophones in class)

It was an exciting match. But the home team lost, 1-0, in spite of several excellent scoring chances.

The stadium is on the riverfront with an impressive view of downtown Pittsburgh.

I finally saw it recently - there was a discussion of Mel Brooks’ films on his birthday on one of the Facebook groups I belong to. I happened to be home and found that Young Frankenstein was airing that afternoon on a cable channel I had. IIRC, I recorded it, and watched it that night. I enjoyed it.

Top of 17C today,the warmest we’ve had for sometime 🙂 It seems a long time since we’ve had a fine day with blue skies here in Victoria.

And our seats are on the edge of the foul ball vs. home run line. I’m so excited! Gotta go sew some more lace on my Rockies t-shirt. Wish I had some rhinestones.

Look, I know that there is virtually no way that the Rockies will do better than crash and burn when it really matters – it is our custom – but I’m a fan anyway. :crazy_face:

And I grew up in Orange County, California, and was a huge Anaheim Angels fan – so I kinda hate the Dodgers out of respect to my upbringing. :+1:t4:

Forgive my rudeness, but shut up. 😠 😓

90 F today and so much smoke in the air from fires in the western US that the daylight seemed orange-ish.
 
Yup, still so hot here. Right in the middle of the fires. Some of our acquaintances were evacuated over the weekend. So much ash everywhere. Please pray for all those suffering from the fires…it’s supposed to be 107° on Saturday.

Fire season has started here in NSW already (I’m in Victoria ,a little greener)
 
You should understand I was attempting to get more answers so thank you for yours. Just wait you will be longing for that 90 F.
