i couldnāt make up my mind which Judas Priest album so i didnāt put them on the listI second the Maiden and AC/DC additions ⦠how could I forget those classics?
How about Judas Priest, British Steel? If not that one then Iām sure one of their other albums.

I did a search on the Judas Priest album and I found that the song is from their Metal Works compilation album. If itās on another album originally Iām not sure which one.i couldnāt make up my mind which Judas Priest album so i didnāt put them on the list
Lepanto: wow April Wine,so they arenāt metal but they are at least fairly hard.
Judas Priest/under a blood red sky, which album is that from.
Anthrax/ Persitance in time
Mega Deth/ so far so good so whatā¦
Me thinks under a blood red sky is from their defenders of the faith album. Which is an all around solid album.I did a search on the Judas Priest album and I found that the song is from their Metal Works compilation album. If itās on another album originally Iām not sure which one.
Iād like to add to my favorites list Slayer, Seasons in the Abyss, Led Zeppelin, III, Ozzy, No Rest For the Wicked and Blizzard of Ozz.
Wow⦠Nuclear Assault! I havenāt heard that name in ages. I never really got into them, but I have heard of them. I couldāve seen Death Angel when they opened for Pantera before they broke up but at the time my cash flow didnāt allow for overpriced tickets.hey all about some unknown bands in your collections,
anybody ever hear of? Raven, Nuclear Assult, Death Angel, Iron Angel,
I think I listen to obscure bands more than I listen to well-known bands.hey all about some unknown bands in your collections,

I didnāt even think of mentioning Metal Churchā¦about Sword, they could crank it out pretty good.I had friends would were big into Nuclear Assault and Death Angel back in high school. I never got into them.
One of my favorite obscure metal bands from back in the 80s is Meliah Rage. They were kind of a thrashier Metal Church. In fact, I saw them open for Metal Church a few years ago.
Some of their better tunes are:

Wow, youāve heard of Mind Bomb? Iām impressed. Theyāre so obscure they donāt even have a Wikipedia entry (if you search for āMind Bombā, all you get is the album āMind Bombā by The The). If youāve ever seen the movie āAir Headsā (with Brendan Fraser, Steve Buschemi, and Adam Sandler before any of them were famous), you can actually see a Mind Bomb poster in the background at the radio station. The movie also includes a cameo of one of my favorite bands, the Galactic Cowboys (appearing as the āSons of Thunderā). Yes, I am a nerd.Well Joe me thinks you are āou thereā i may have heard of dream theatre and mind bomb, but as for the rest of them noā¦
Perry, the editor of the Daily Planet, used to say it all the time in āLois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.āOK, I am asking this out of pure naivety, but is the term āJudas Priestā a curse of some kind? It sounds strange.
I think the only place I ever heard it spoken (besides in reference to the band) was in the movie āThe Exorcist.ā
Amen to that! I always loved that song.Just thought Iād toss in here a prog metal song thatās always connected with my Catholicism (at least the chorus). The song is Out of the Ashes by Symphony X. The chorus is:
Out of the ashes of my youth
I rise a man
And through the eyes of Truth
I finally understand

As someone who didnāt come to Christianity until my 20s, Iād definitely consider my younger years a destructive fire in many ways, as I struggled to figure out how the heck I was supposed to be conducting myself. I just really get fired up (no pun intended) during that chorus!
