Bless your heart. Just because you haven’t seen or heard it, doesn’t mean it never happened.

Neither was Obama, Clinton, Carter, LBJ, Kennedy, etc etc. but the way the left talks about them you would think they were.
Clearly I need to quote myself again…
Assuming someone who dislikes Trump is automatically a Democrat is highly illogical. Trump hijacked the Republican Party with his personal agenda. Just because someone dislikes trump and won’t vote for him doesn’t mean they love Obama or Hillary or any other “leftist” politician.

What world do you live in?! For your sake, I sincerely hope if you are ever being beaten that the other bystanders don’t simply say, “I’m being charitable and obeying the law by not intervening”, while you are being pummelled and crying out for them to help you.
I don’t think the majority of citizens witness their neighbors being assaulted.

Stalin acted with strength, Hitler acted with strength,Saddam Hussein acted with strength, Idi Amin acted with strength, Mussolini, Pol Pot acted with strength, and look where all that “strength” got them. Trump acts with strength?

Right. The cops watching are guilty. The bystanders unfortunately were in a very difficult situation as a police officer murdered someone and 3 other police officers let it happen. Had I been there, unarmed watching a man die by 4 men with guns, I likely would have been weary to intervene. Not every situation is like that.

Do I have to say it again.

11,000,000 police interactions in 2019.
~1,000 died from those police interactions.
~290 were unarmed.
~54 were white.
~10 were black.
~6 of those 10 black deaths were justified.
4 were not.

There is no systemic and systematic murdering of black, white or otherwise any other race by police.

1 person murdered by police is an outrage, a crime, and pure evil. Period. Jesus left the 99 to go to the 1.

“Justified”. Wow that’s horrible. I guess as human beings we are “justified” to know when the value of someone else’s life is worth ending.

Self-defense may be necessary but it does not make killing another human being “justified”.

I suggest you change your word usage.

I shall not change my word choice. You also seem to be fairly naive of the world. If a criminal is shooting at a cop, and the cop kills him. It. Is. Justified.

But I suppose you would have to cops pull a Biden and “shoot him in the knee”? Or bring in a social worker to calm him down?

One more thing, there is a big difference between murder and killing. Murder is never justified, killing can be.

I think it’s funny having these conversations with you because you clearly sit on your high and mighty horse claiming others are not Catholic when you do not fully understand that we are called to protect our neighbors. Additionally, you do not seem to grasp the world we live in and you do not seem to have any sense of reality. But regardless, your responses are weak from a reasoned standpoint, but it does not hold whether it happens once in a million years or 20 times a day. I have a right and a duty to protect my neighbor from harm and I will do so, as should you if you are able. The police cannot always protect you.
😳

Thanks for the insults, I guess?

I quote, “Are you Catholic? I ask because as Catholics, we are required to act with charity.”

You insinuate that because I would stop the criminal from beating my neighbor to death, that I am somehow either not Catholic, not Catholic enough, not aware of my own faith, or not charitable. I reject your premise and this is why I made my comment.

Completely false reasoning, and shocking in how easy it is to refute:

Find a bunch of wicked evil men; find a quality Trump has in common with them; and say they’re all equal. It’s tantamount to saying “Trump and Hitler both had brown eyes so they’re both bad.”

I see strength as something Trump shared with Lincoln (both resolute in times of national crisis and haters) or Teddy Roosevelt. Neither of those had much in common with wimps like Romney or Paul Ryan.
