That is very rare. What is much more common is posts trashing Trump and his supporters. This whole board at times practically has a “Catholics who oppose Donald Trump”-flavor.
If you read this thread from post 1, there is a LOT of anti-Trump material, even of the microaggression variety. It’s largely me and a very few others defending him in the face of a lot of attacks from a lot of sides (much like life!)…with the corollary that the anti-trump folks hate, HATE getting pushback (maybe because they get it so infrequently around here).

which is neither accurate, Christian or charitable on your part … in fact - though stated in such a mild and polite way - is more derogatory than the worst Trump Tweet I have ever read or watched the media melt down over … and so reminds me of the vile racist statements cloaked in words and programs of support for minorities I hear spoken by and enacted by some

Unfortunately this is common among the left. For all it’s talk of people power and working class nonsense, they denigrate the very ones they claim to champion. When it actually comes to engaging common people they go into it with their minds twisted by ‘these are trailer trash Christians who imbibe the opium of the people.’ I’ve even seen other Christians approach the topic like that.

It’s also the left’s tactic du jour of choice for years: Ronald Reagan was derided as an idiot; Atheists call themselves “brights” because they’re so bright compared to idiot God-believers. It’s more subtle, but just as much on display, when people follow blindly the diktats of “experts,” saying, “we need to do what the experts say,” as if anyone who questions the experts are idiots.

It is the sad state of America today … and the media do this all the time with Trump. They have a narrative, in order to portray his words to fit that narrative they have to tell you what his words “meant” … not what he actually said … Or they take his words out of context and tell you he said “X” when in context or the fullness of the quote he said “Y” …
I learned the other day from MSNBC that only uneducated people support the President - those with at most a high school education while College educated Americans do not …Imagine my surprise at that when I know people with Bachelors, Masters and PHDs who support the President. I know African Americans, Hispanic Americans and Asian Americans and Caucasian Americans who support Trump. And I do not know a single one who worships him - not one.
