Strictly speaking, the word translated as Christ, is referring to the Anointed one, which in the view of the Hebrews were themselves. Israel, the anointed people of God. The reproach of the Anointed one referring to the suffering of Israel. This is a type of Christ, a prefiguring of the Messiah.Jesus is the God of the Old Testament:
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt.” (Heb. 11:24-26)
But yes, the Word of God was known to Moses in his Theophany; the burning bush. The Father and Spirit of God are also found in the OT. But it was Jesus who revealed the Father, in Himself, and the Father who revealed the Son, in sending the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. The Son and the Father reveal the Holy Spirit. One God, who gave His name to Moses as “I Am”. Not “We Are”.
