Why kill a child by breaking his little body with stones until dead for cursing his parents?
this never happened.
Why send She Bears to slaughter a crowed of youths for mocking a prophets baldness?

Maybe this is happening so that people can realize the falsity within Islam.“I feel sorry for Muslim girls who are being married off at such young ages, and all because of a man who had no concept of right and wrong.”
Yeah…examples can be found here in Indonesia, Syeikh Puji got married to a 9 year old girl saying that he wanted to follow his spiritual leader, many marriage were broken because many men want to have second, third or whatever, if first wives can’t accept and want divorce, they will only to be ridiculed by fellow muslim of not obeying husband or follow the teaching, some muslim fundamentals really want to force sharia to be the legitimate law, some are terrified ,they find that the law will make the society broke …it only bring divisions among the Muslims themselves…they are puzzled.
Yes, islam has brought confusion to them…
There are some verses common in OT & NT . Do u think , Jesus (pbuh) copied those from OT ?Sounds like you copied the Bible a bit, eh?
Maybe the OT and NT have a lot of verses in common because Jesus was the Jewish Messiah that was prophesied in the OT. But hey, that would make too much sense. In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

We believe , OT , NT , Quran–all came from the same source --God Almigthy . So , many things are common there --specailly the most important teachings are repeated in all holy books–God is one. Don’t take deity besides God.
btw Jesus (pbuh) won’t preach any new religion --he will come back as a Muslim![]()
inJesus, those harsh laws in the bibleOT were given by your Father God or the son God (Jesus). Why do you forget and by-pass them so easily?.
You say “This never happened”. But the law was there, given by your God to the Jews to stone to death any son who abused his parents. How can you forget those laws and you start questioning the laws in Quran? That is not fair.
Please tell who passed those laws for the Jews. Was it your Father god or the son God? And why did he order killing of all unarmed innocent people, women and children?? Which you can see in your bible??
WE have no problem with whatever is written in the bibelOT. But when you start questioning the laws in Islam, then we have to remind you about the earlier harshness of your God. And then suddenly realising that your God made a mistake and He switched over to “Love thy enemy”.??? Please explain all that your Gods had been doing??
Dear Planten…Yesterday 10:17 pm
Good explanation. Simply said though the difference in the OT and the NT is all about Jesus. Jesus makes the difference. Man’s experience with God is dyanmic but Jesus is the final answer. “I will make everything new” - that’s what we are in Jesus Christ. We are new persons and not the old. This is just an answer of a lay catholic, I am not going to pretend that I am the expert of explaining OT to you, but I as the Catholic have the understanding of the OT as showing the evolvement of how human understand God. In the old testament, I guess people were still learning how they relate to God and their fellow human being by obeying rules, law and regulation, but finally what had become of it just the situation when and where people enforced law to other people to show their power. Law, even that had come from the love of God initially, had become the tool by the authority of religion, to exert their power.
So God only see that human should evolve, that’s why He send His only Son to tell what is the real important of all law, where all the law really has to base it self, that is the Love to God in expression and the love towards human as the realization in action.
So what I and other Christian understand of OT is not that God change mind, He just need to make people grow in their understanding of what their faith means.
In the OT God say that He will make His law written in His people’s heart…
Peace, ok?..![]()
You are making God a Muslim. Hardly. God can do what He wills, He willed that a human be created by His own power that would reveal the perfect divinity of God’s truth to humanity. Why? So we as humans would be properly guided. Humanity emulates its prophets (as we can see in Muslims with Muhammad), and God realized this. So Jesus is the ONLY perfect example, His life was consecrated and annointed to God’s purpose alone, He was master over his desire and his ego, He did only God’s will and never did he reveal God bending to make special treatment for Jesus, for lust, for greed, for war, for any of these human things. In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

So you are angry because someone claim that Jesus will get married, but God is angry from you because you already claimed that He begot a son.wow how some members here are trying to deceive others without any authentic referencehttp://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon13.gif , Jesus will never get married & have kids in his second coming according to Islam, there isn’t a single authentic hadith mentioning that!, that earthy lusty instinct is for Muhammed and his followers NOT for Jesus, however, here is the most authentic reference about Jesus second coming according to Islam:
**
Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0287:**
“Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my life, the son of Mary (may peace be upon him) will soon descend among you as a just judge. He will break crosses, kill swine and abolish Jizya and the wealth will pour forth to such an extent that no one will accept it.”

**Muhammed was not **a warlord . What does a warlord want any way ? Money? power ? leadership? Ladies ? honor ?`fame? All this was offered to Muhammed by the Meccans in return to stop preaching Islam and he refused. What made him refuse this generous offer if that was his end goal? If this world was what Muhammed wanted , he was already offered the best of it .

Narrated Jabir:
**We went out in a campaign and the army was called The Army of the Khabt, and Abu 'Ubaida was our commander. **
We were struck with severe hunger. Then the sea threw a huge dead fish called Al-'Anbar, the like of which had never been seen. We ate of it for half a month, and then Abu 'Ubaida took one of its bones (and made an arch of it) so that a rider could easily pass under it.

Narrated Ibn Abi Aufa:
We participated with the Prophet in six or seven Ghazawat, and we used to eat locusts with him.

Narrated Salama bin Al-Aqwa’:
In the evening of the day of the conquest of Khaibar, the army made fires (for cooking). The Prophet said, “For what have you made these fires?” They said, “For cooking the meat of domestic donkeys.”
He said, “Throw away what is in the cooking pots and break the pots.” A man from the people got up and said, “Shall we throw the contents of the cooking pots and then wash the pots (instead of breaking them)?” The Prophet said, "Yes, you can do either’

Narrated Jabir:
The Prophet sent us as an army unit of three hundred warriors under the command of Abu 'Ubaida to ambush a caravan of the Quraish.
But we were struck with such severe hunger that we ate the Khabt (desert bushes), so our army was called the Army of the Khabt. Then the sea threw a huge fish called Al-'Anbar and we ate of it for half a month and rubbed our bodies with its fat till our bodies became healthy.
Then Abu Ubaida took one of its ribs and fixed it over the ground and a rider passed underneath it. There was a man amongst us who slaughtered three camels when hunger became severe, and he slaughtered three more, but after that Abu 'Ubaida forbade him to do so.

(On 'Id) We used to forbid our virgins to go out (for 'Id prayer). A lady came and stayed at the Palace of Bani Khalaf. She mentioned that her sister was married to one of the companions of Allah’s Apostle who participated in twelve Ghazawats along with Allah’s Apostle and her sister was with him in six of them. …

it isn’t punishment that is being argued but the way it was carried. Based on which law is tearing off nails, gouging eyes and watching people die in the sun as a result of theft and murder?
inJESUS;5076724:
Oh really now… let’s talk today please - 21st century !That’s right. And your God has no problem with killing an individual by breaking their body by bashing them with stones. Are you under the impression that stoning is something other than a torturous death?
But no. When your prophet orders individual to be killed through torturous means that is just, when their prophet does so it’s an unconscionable act of barbarism.
There is just such an absurd level of double standard with regards to the attitude to Islam here. It really is shocking.
2 questions only for you…
Do Jews stone their sinners to death??
Do Christians stone their sinners to death??

It does not matter if Jews or Christians follow these injunctions now. The fact is your God considers stoning not onle allowable but morally necessary in some circumstances.

It is when I hear story like this that I thought, “Jesus would not do thing such as this. On the cross he forgave his tormentors”. I just know what Mohammad would have done had he been in Jesus’ situation. …#369:
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
Allah’s Apostle said,
"Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?"
Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying,
“O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?”
**The Prophet said, “Yes,” **
Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "
The Prophet said, "You may say it."
How can a mans words hurt allah? Mohamads feeling were hurt and got someone else to do his dirty work.
Nice prophet of God and for all mankind…!!!

In other words, the idea of punishment is not something to argue about because punishment isn’t supposed to be something nice in the first place but based on which law did Muhammad order gouging out eyes and treaing off nails and dehydrating people in a slow painful death ?
They think this is true:How could two persons who were supposed to be God’s prophets (in Islamic belief) be so different? How could the message that they tried to convey so contradictory?
