Are there any Catholic theologions that fully understand the last book of the bible ?

Look THE CATHOLIC CHURCH is right nobody is argueing the fact I,m just trying to tell you, that there is a easyier way to under stand Revelations, and all I get is flack.I find this group very childish. So under stand it the way you want to.REALLY FRIENDLY :bowdown2:

I think you are the one who needs help my friend. Serious help. Anyone who thinks the whole or part of the bible has a code embedded in it is one can short of a six pack!!

actually, I’m 49 and have been involved in the medical field for over 30 years. …but the “prozac” comment was only a joke. You shouldn’t take life so seriously…stop and smell the roses once in awhile… 😉

there are no theologians or bible scholars, Catholic or otherwise, who fully understand any book of the Bible. the Bible is the human record in human terms, inspired by the Holy Spirit, of God’s revelation to mankind. Because it is limited by human language and understanding, the fullness of that Divine Revelation can never be grasped on this earth, or anywhere outside heaven.

The question is fullness, I think revelation is put there for us to figure out and understand, as for fullness no man will ever get any book in the bible 100% but let’s try for as high as possible.

I dont think walt has said enough to be judged so harshly. If in fact John did use an ancient way of understanding numbers, then there is a possibllity that we have over looked somethings in revelation. And since revelation wasn’t officail teaching at one point in time, we can at least give walt a chance to explain him self. Then we can judge his work. If there is in fact heresy and lies and deception in his work, then prove him wrong, instead of ridculing him and luaghing. To me this is devilish, especailly if he was in fact mentally ill( I dont believe that walt is mentally ill).

Imagine a soul going to hell because you didn’t take the time to correct him of his errors. We are responsible for eachother! :mad: God bless 🙂

Dont leave. There is much you can learn here, and there are nicer people around here then you realise. But please, if somebody trys to correct you, then hear them out, and listen to there argument. Im sure that if you are in fact decieved, you would not want to remain so!. 🙂
