So Jesus is like Allah? Or Jesus, like Adam, is unlike Allah?
no like is like God. We are His creations , slaves . God created Adam (p) without father , mother ; God created Jesus (p) without earthy father . This verse reminds us that miracle birth of Jesus (p) does not make him equal to his Creator. The first sentence of Jesus (p) was : I am a slave of God .

Muslims are not allowed to hate any human being just because they belong to other faith . Specially Jews & Christians are referred as ’ people of the holy books’ in Quran.

I think , some Muslims try to tell that many suffered in war time & in the past on various occassions . Why only Jewish people will always enjoy special facilities because once they were victims of the holocaust ? Also , it does not give them any right to torture people in Palestine . They were not responsible for the holocaust.
Well, then maybe the muslims should give all the land that they stole from them and the Christians since mohammed’s time!

hamas killed and tortured, and hid behind, more muslims than any other group. but that doesn’t matter since it was the infidel Jew who had the audacity to get sick of the bombs lobbed into their lands and fired back. That doesn’t count.

And the war crimes came from the muslim side - not the Jewish side.

hamas forced people to stay at home instead of allowing them to get out of the area

Israel tried to minimize casualties - hamas tried to increase them

Isreal did NOT commit war crimes

There are dozens more articles - hamas firing from a school, grabbing kids and hiding behind them, etc. We have seen that behavior with hezbollah from Lebanon in the Israeli/Lebanon war too. And then Egypt barred them from entering Egypt - not a peep out of the muslims then.

I would say that your true colors are showing by supporting hamas.

There is no such sentence from Jesus in the Bible. If you want to use the Quran to talk about Jesus - first prove that the Bible was corrupted.

What post are you referring to?

Oh, and by the way they call it reverting to islam. They believe that we are all born muslims. 🤷

Now - I have an answer to that too! We believe that we have original sin and it would be reverting back to the state of sin to revert to islam!! I just do not see islam as a path to anything other than hell. I don’t see how anyone could follow or defend islam/mohammed. So many have been tortured and/or died because of that guy and it is still going on in his name.

:signofcross:

And the ‘peaceful’ ones only speak up when the radicals are fired back on by their victims.
**I know they do but I cannot use that word. I feel such heartache that someone who knows Jesus can turn their back on him and follow a false Prophet.

Muslims - why did God of the Bible change his mind? Allah approved of every sin mohammed wished to indulge in namely adultery, rape, child molestation, incest, deceit, robbery and all the sins condemned by God in the Bible are OK with Allah. Thus, how can allah be the same God?

Please watch this video - it sums up my personal reasons why I will not follow mohammed youtube.com/watch?v=8j7JKU5yL0g&feature=channel_page** - I know you have “rock solid faith in mohammed” so hopefully you will watch if only to see my opinion.

The Rise, Decline, and Death, of Islam as Predicted in the Bible
that’s interesting . So , Bible predicted about rise of Islam ?? Normally Christians don’t agree that Bible has anything about Islam . Some believe
Genesis 16:11-12 commands them that Christians must oppose descedents of Ismail (p) always.

****In Islam you believe Mohammed is the comforter which he is not. The comforter is a spirit and considering mohammed is a man and not a spirit there is no way that is him. Revelations is about the end of the world and the anti-christ etc and thus a completely different thing.

Also in the Bible God warns us about False Prophets and whispering angels:-

Matthew 24:24-26
24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.
26"So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

Mark 13:21-23
21At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ[a]!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. 22For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. 23So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

Luke 21:8-9
8He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 9When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

Whispering angels:-

Galatians 1
1Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— 2and all the brothers with me,
 To the churches in Galatia:
3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
No Other Gospel
6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

to be continued…****

**Why The Comforter Is Not Mohammad ?

Why some Muslims say that Lord Jesus spoke about Mohammad? They think the Comforter whom the Lord Jesus said would come after him was Mohammad.
Did Jesus Really Speak About Mohammad ?
Comforter The Lord Jesus said would come after him was the The Holy Spirit-The Spirit of Truth.Mohammad Was No spirit.
This is what the Lord said about the Comforter or the Helper who was to come after him."But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."John;14;26
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John;14;15-18
Just Before Being Taken Up Into Heaven Lord Jesus Commanded His disciples -not to depart from Jerusalem, "But to wait for the Promise of the Father,"which, He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts;1;4,5
Did the disciples of Jesus wait for Mohammad in Jerusalem for the next 600 years? No,They waited in Jerusalem and received the Holy Spirit as Jesus had told them who gave them the power to go into the uttermost parts of the earth and preach the Gospel to all nations. The Comforter who is the Holy Spirit came 10 days after Jesus was received up into heaven.
It was not for Mohammad but for the Holy Ghost they waited in Jerusalem. And when The Comforter came the early churches and "were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied."Acts;9;31-The Acts of the Apostles says. The Holy Spirit or the Comforter was not sent to make another religion. But to comfort edify and teach and guide the disciples of Jesus Christ and to give them the power to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God to all nations.
The Comforter, the Lord said.“Who will be with you and in you.” He came to be with the believers forever.“The world cannot see him or know Him.” John;14;
Spirit Of Truth,or The Comforter Is Not Mohammad !The Comforter is also The Spirit of Truth. The Truth is God Himself. So the Spirit of Truth is God’s Spirit. He is not a man.
He is invisible. Was Mohammad invisible?
He was sent to be with the believers forever. He will teach and guide and comfort the believers as long as they are in the world.
Is Mohammed with anyone or within anyone forever as Lord Jesus spoke?
As a man’s spirit is a part of himself. Spirit of God is One with God Himself.
What happened in the Book of Acts 2 was the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy.”I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophecy…”Joel;2;28

So as the Muslims think Holy Spirit or the Comforter whom Lord Jesus sent was not Mohammad. He is one with The Triune God. Anyone who claims that Mohammad is the Comforter or the Spirit of Truth Lord Jesus spoke about, is trying to make Mohammad God.

There is a lot in this sentence. It shows that the Muslim belief of their relation to Allah is not the same as the Christian belief in their relation to God. Christians believe we are all God’s children; children are not slaves but heirs. “Father” is the title that Jesus used a number of times to describe this relationship between God and man [e.g., the parable of the prodigal son].

On the other hand, “father” is not one of the 99 Islamic names for Allah, and that’s why Muslim Woman says that Muslims are all slaves to Allah. More differences could not exist than those between a slave and an heir.

In view of all this, therefore, Allah is not the same as God.
God created Jesus (p) without earthy father.
According to Islam, why was Jesus given a miraculous birth and the other “prophets” were not? As far as “prophets” go, what is so special about Jesus?

I ask myself that too. Dosen`t a human being need to work his way up to become a Prophet. Or dose God create them without any free will???

Islam is very confusing.

no problem 🙂 there is no compulsion in religion .

To you be your Way, and to me mine ( holy Quran; 109:6)

Have u heard of an old man who hated Muhammed & used to tell others : Don’t talk to me about Muhammad!" ?
Yeah, he had him assasinated. I guess that is ok with you since you used him as an example.

I ask myself that too. Dosen`t [sic] a human being need to work his way up to become a Prophet.
Do you mean “prophet” in the Islamic sense or “prophet” in the OT / NT sense? In the case of the latter, God chooses the prophets and reveals His word to them [similar to what Muslims believe about Mohammed]. The main difference is the message. What is the message being conveyed in each case?
Or dose [sic] God create them without any free will???
According to Christian teaching, all human beings are given free will, regardless.
Islam is very confusing.
That’s because there is no coherent message. Earlier passages of its texts that conflict with later ones are “abrogated” even though both are “perfect” – some are more perfect than others, to paraphrase an old quote. It is so “perfect” that no one can understand it. Not only that, but the chapters are arranged from the longest to the shortest. Ideas expressed in any document have to flow in some sort of order, not bounce around. This non-coherence causes the confusion you experience, but this non-coherence is passed off as profoundness which is further “proof” that it is “perfect” and “true”.

Contrast the organization of Islamic texts with that found in the Catechism. It doesn’t matter whether or not you believe what the Catechism says, but you can see how its arrangement is coherent so the message can be understood easily by anyone who can read. It starts by explaining the profession of faith concerning man’s search for God. What does it mean exactly when Islam says, “There is one god, Allah, and Mohammed is his messenger”? What document supporting the Qur’an explains it and where?

But the greatest difference between Islamic thought and Christian thought has to be in how the two view actual thinking about their respective beliefs. Christianity encourages questions about faith because the more questions that get answered, the closer we come to God, whereas Islam discourages it because to do so indicates some sort of challenge to the belief, or some kind of unbelief, apparently one of the worst sins you can commit. In Islam, everything has to be accepted “as-is” because if it is interpreted or clarified, it is supposedly subject to human “error” and therefore no longer “perfect” – even if it helps the faithful understand the texts better. How can people truly believe something without understanding it?

If any historical generalization may be made safely, it may be safely said that any society that believes reason to threaten its foundations will suppress reason. Conversely, any society that suppresses reason is one that knows it will fall if it ceases that suppression.

My conclusion is that Islam discourages thinking and questions about belief because if they ever got answered by right reasoning, there would no longer be any Islam.

So how can an ideology be true if it discourages thinking?

‘Islamic thought’ I do believe that is an oxymoron! If you think you might lose your head.

War and Peace, and deceit, in islam
Amazingly, for all the talk that Islam is constantly being “misunderstood” or “misinterpreted” by “radicals,” the fact is, as opposed to most other religions, Islam is a clearly defined faith admitting of no ambiguity: indeed, according to Sharia (i.e., “Islam’s way of life,” more commonly translated as “Islamic law”) every conceivable human act is categorized as being either forbidden, discouraged, permissible, recommended, or obligatory. “Common sense” or “universal opinion” has little to do with Islam’s notions of right and wrong. All that matters is what Allah (via the Koran) and his prophet Muhammad (through the hadith) have to say about any given subject, and how Islam’s greatest theologians and jurists — collectively known as the ulema, literally, the “ones who know” — have articulated it.
Consider the concept of lying. According to Sharia, deception is not only permitted in certain situations but is sometimes deemed obligatory. For instance, and quite contrary to early Christian tradition, not only are Muslims who must choose between either recanting Islam or being put to death permitted to lie by pretending to have apostatized; many jurists have decreed that, according to Koran 4:29, Muslims are obligated to lie.
In the first paragraph I would also like to add the claim by muslims that we misunderstand it when the muslims don’t like when we post their own texts!
Moreover, non-Muslim thinkers and philosophers, such as Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, and Hobbes, all justified deceit in war. The crucial difference, however, is that, according to all four recognized schools of Sunni jurisprudence, war against the infidel goes on in perpetuity — until “all chaos ceases, and all religion belongs to Allah” (Koran 8:39). In its entry on jihad, the definitive Encyclopaedia of Islam simply states:
The duty of the jihad exists as long as the universal domination of Islam has not been attained. Peace with non-Muslim nations is, therefore, a provisional state of affairs only; the chance of circumstances alone can justify it temporarily. Furthermore there can be no question of genuine peace treaties with these nations; only truces, whose duration ought not, in principle, to exceed ten years, are authorized. But even such truces are precarious, inasmuch as they can, before they expire, be repudiated unilaterally should it appear more profitable for Islam to resume the conflict.
If Islam must be in a constant state of war with the non-Muslim world, which need not be physical, as the ulema have classified several non-violent forms of jihad, such as “jihad-of-the-pen” (propaganda) and “money-jihad” (economic); and if Muslims are permitted to lie and feign loyalty, amiability, even affection to the infidel, simply to further their war efforts — what does one make of any Muslim overtures of peace, tolerance, or dialogue?

This is more obvious when one considers that, every single time Muslims “reach out” for “peace,” it is always when they are in a weakened condition vis-à-vis infidels — that is, when they, not their non-Muslim competitors, benefit from the peace. This is the lesson of the last two centuries of Muslim-Western interaction, wherein the former have been militarily inferior and thus beholden to the latter.

As to the relationship between Muslims and infidels, this is summarized by the Most High’s Word: “We [Muslims] renounce you [non-Muslims]. Enmity and hate shall forever reign between us — till you believe in Allah alone” [Koran 60:4]. So there is an enmity, evidenced by fierce hostility from the heart. And this fierce hostility — that is, battle — ceases only if the infidel submits to the authority of Islam, or if his blood is forbidden from being shed , or if Muslims are at that point in time weak and incapable . But if the hate at any time extinguishes from the heart, this is great apostasy! … Such, then, is the basis and foundation of the relationship between the infidel and the Muslim. Battle, animosity, and hatred — directed from the Muslim to the infidel — is the foundation of our religion. And we consider this a justice and kindness to them (from The Al Qaeda Reader, p. 43).

This is islam.

why not listen to Dawud ( David ) ? It’s a nice song 🙂

Muslim Woman and other Muslims posting on this thread:

While I respect Muslims and your free will to accept Quran as the infallible word of Allah, and Mohammad as your last prophet, I think it is somewhat strange to tell a Christian that they have got their own Scripture wrong. How would Muslims like it if someone in a country far away from Mecca suddenly came along and said that Muslims have got their Scripture all wrong? All the Jewish prophets were born in Israel, and Jesus was born in Israel too. Mecca and Medina are not in Israel.

Let the Jews have their Scripture and their interpretation of their own Scripture and let Christians have theirs. Why should Muslims be so eager to correct Jewish and Christian Scripture?

They have to prove it wrong. They are told the Bible is corrupted. If they cannot prove that (and they cannot) then they have to admit the quran is not the word of God. That is hard for them to accept that mohammed is a false prophet. Fortunately millions are seeing the truth and converting to Christianity.
