You see this is still where i disagree with you which is fair enough, previous assassins creed games tended not to be so wacky in it’s gameplay. Combat was certainly alot more realistic but in other ways too scripted. Going the route they have however with the RPG element is good but i dislike the road they are taking elsewhere in turning your character into a demigod. Also they are disregarding the historical elements by taking more and more liberties. Remember assassins creed was originally created to be a fictional game set somewhat accurately in historical eras and regions. Instead we now get to play in a version of ancient Greece that looks like a SJW paradise.
The historical elements were always limited of course for entertainnent reasons but never before have they gone so far with taking such liberties into transforming and ancient era into modern society. Origins felt very much like playing during Ptolemaic Egypt. Nowhere was i confronted with such over the top social issues that affect our modern society. I actually felt like i had escaped all that.
