The information is here, or at the least there are many good starting points here. You have yet to explain how and when and indeed if, the Petrine Claims descended on to the shoulders of the Bishop of Rome! Nowhere is it made clear!
This is one of the biggest problems with the non-Catholic Christian, Protestant belief in Sola Scripture or Bible Alone, and the rejection of Catholic history (early Christian history), by many non-Catholic Christians today, They are actually rejecting various aspects of Christianity.
One cannot fully know or understand Christianity and why Christians, Catholics, believe what they do today, if one ignores the Christian past.
If one ignores Christian history from yesterday, they will not understand Christianity today.
For example, the Catholic Church has documents written by and about Catholic Popes, spanning Catholic/Christian history, which clearly demonstrate the Apostolic Succession. However, since Protestants refuse to consider early Catholic sources, which are actually, early Christian sources, they can’t connect the dots.
One cannot connect the Christian dots, without first connecting the Catholic dots.
This would be like reading the manual that comes with a new computer and trying to understand how the computer came to be.
If one ignores the history of technology, leading up to the modern computer they will never understand why a computer is the way it is today.
“Christian tradition” is just another way of saying Christian history.
Then again, if all Protestant, non-Catholic Christians, knew and understood Christian History, they would also know and understand Catholicism and that might create a problem for Protestant denominations…
The Famous Protestant convert to Catholicism, Cardinal Henry Newman (1801-1890), once said,
*“ To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant." *
Catholicism represents the Full Deposit of Faith.
