The BNP movement had been banned by the Catholic Church and even in the Philippines by Cardinal Sin yet, BNP continued to reject the ban. The BNP movement said that the ban had been rescinded but had not proven their declaration. I don’t know any diocese in the US who supports BNP’s activities. If there’s any, they should present a proof here.
The bible had instructed us to obey our church, *the pillar of our faith *(1Timothy3.15). Any priest or bishop who disagrees with the bishop who issued the ban is not union with the Catholic Church and the pope. Our bishops are not divided.
BNP movement is a lay ministry NOT authorized or supported by the Catholic Church. Who gave them authority? Ate Salve and the BNP staff made themselves the authority. I repeat they had been banned by the church. The banning letter from San Bernardino’s bishop should be enough to stop their activities but they defied the authority and continued their money making events. They need money to maintain the multi-million dollar compound in Ontario California. They had built it separately from the Catholic Church because they can’t hold their retreats and events in any Catholic property. If they are Catholic, why are they not in union with the Catholic Church?
“Rommelh” even tried to educate us with his knowledge about being Catholic but can’t even translate correctly. Now, he translated Mahal Na Ingkong as Great Grandfather and “Granny”. Granny is slang for grandmother and Great grandfather is the father of the grandfather. So Mahal Na Ingkong means Beloved Grandmother now and Beloved Great Grandfather is the fifth god who is greater than the Grandfather and Jesus Christ? He even accused the bishops as one sided. Is he really a true catholic? Anyone who claims to be a Catholic should be obedient with the church, no matter how strong his opinion is. He must be in union with the church.
I believe the BNP, have their own catechism in teaching the catholic faith. Maybe Rommelh should read Catholic catechism or research this Catholic website to learn more about our Catholic faith. Catholicscomehome.org is also an excellent site. These sites are the teaching magesterium of the Catholic Faith. I had learned so much here. The truth is in our Catholic Church who could interpret phenomena anyone may observe.
About Ate Salve (BNP’s matriarch who had multiple husbands), I was wondering if Mahal Na Ingkong (Beloved Grandfather ) told Ate Salve to leave her family in the Philippines, get an annulment, remarry in the US, and petition all her children. If God uses her as an instrument and she had been in constant contact with “Him” since 1968, why did God allow it to happen. I wonder if she was really submissive to her first husband. This is one of the reasons I have strong disbelief about Ate Salve.
My suspicion is Ate Salve had an annulment for economic reasons just like some of us who migrated to the US; get a divorce or annulment and remarry. I hope to find more about her real life since her encounter with Mahal Na Ingkong in 1968 in Amadeo, Cavite, Philippines. If my belief is wrong, please let me know.
If any BNP member has any true story about Ate Salve since 1968 please, share it here. What actually happened in 1968 between Mahal Na Ingkong and Ate Salve? When did she get married? When did she arrive in the US? What was her status when she came to the US? Is her former husband still alive? We only hear one side of her story.
The personal and private life of a leader in a Catholic movement must not be secret. *“A church leader must be without fault…, must only have one wife…, must not love money…, must be able to manage his family…, and must be mature in faith. *(1Timothy 3.2-6)
I suspect “Believer112” is Ate Salve’s present husband, or one of her elder, or one of her children. Maybe Rommelh, too. I noticed their comments were for self interest and not for a true Catholic faith. If not identify yourself, you have nothing to hide. I have no problem to identify myself.
The BNP movement compared Ate Salve to Mother Theresa who was a nun and a true servant of God. Ate Salve is very far from her. Ate Salve had multiple husbands whom Rommelh said she had a right to be happy.
They even stated in the fullness of time Ate Salve will be recognized and become a saint.
A fifteen year devout BNP member told me before he left the BNP movement Ate Salve approached him and said, “WHY ARE YOU LEAVING? THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALREADY HERE.” What would this comment tell you.
I had witnessed Ate Salve. She is an IMPOSTOR. God’s first commandment is “…You shall have no other Gods before Me”. Why would Jesus Christ chose Ate Salve (with multiple husbands) to play God? Why would God use an instrument like Ate Salve to act and represent God to convince us that we have a living God?
The second commandment which I believed every BNP did to Ate Salve, “…*Do not bow down to any idol or worship it.” * What do they understand about this commandment? Our church and the bible is enough in our Catholic faith.
It is evident Ate Salve and her children have a lavish life style now since they left Philippines. She owns a mansion in the Philippines which my BNP children (who had been brainwashed) told me that homeless people lived there but found to be incorrect. It was Ate Salve’s families who lived there in luxury.
Father Corapi (EWTN) stated “Nobody plays God!”
Patrick Madrid, EWTN apologist said “Nobody represents or acts as God.”
If the BNP staffs brag they believe they had helped the children, they taught them to lie and brainwashed them to believe Ate Salve has God’s presence, to bow down to her, and to violate the second commandment.
Please, google search Mahal Na Ingkong, you will be surprised how many Filipinos have gone astray from the Catholic faith. They have a different Mahal Na Ingkong.
Truth is absolute.

If the BNP movement is a Catholic movement, why are they not in union with the Catholic Church? Why can’t they use church facilities to hold their retreats? Why are the parish priests or bishops not aware about the retreats held in their jurisdiction?
Please, notice this thread is in “Non Catholic religion”. What do they understand about that? Is it to prove they are still right?
Let us all unite to the one holy Catholic and apostolic church that we all believe. May God bless us all.
