What did you expect, just out of curiosity? A bunch of parents saying, “Oh, yes, our baby smiled at something we couldn’t see, too, and my husband and I also jumped to the conclusion that he was seeing angels”?

As a parent, please jump to the conclusion that you don’t get to be in on every interior mystery that your child will experience and that a shy child in particular benefits from parents who can remain calm about the events in the child’s life rather than readings something stupendous into a little thing that is disclosed. A child with a mother who makes a big deal out of every little thing he does is likely to be more secretive about what he shares with her, not less. Practice letting your son take the lead one what is to be made a big deal of and what is not, particularly if he tends to be shy in the first place, so that when he does get old enough to realize you don’t have a window into his mind he’ll be more open with you.

I didn’t say anything was a hoax. I think my post was in fairly plain, simple language. Why do you want to claim I said something I didn’t?
How Christian is it to say that people have “little faith” just because they disagree with you on something?

You said that the YouTube video may have been fake. Well I’m telling you that father amorths book confirmed a lot that was in the YouTube video. Which then implies that you believe father Amorth is fake too…

Angels and demons are quite real. Fantasies are seeing them round every corner and insisting the baby saw them when there is little evidence. This is unstable thinking, to put it mildly.

How Christian is it of you to tell me that my baby didn’t see an angel? And that it was normal behavior when we ruled that out? But yet still so adament it wasn’t an angel? Seems odd to me
 
Who said I saw them around every corner? Like I’ve said my baby laughs a lot of times on his own but this circumstance was different. You guys should scroll up and actually read previous posts

You are again claiming I said things I didn’t say. I don’t know why you insist on being deliberately dishonest, but that’s what you are doing.
 
You are adament that it wasn’t an angel and normal baby behavior. How is that dishonest?

We’ve read your actual posts. Many of us have also been first-time parents. While it is possible you’re not a first-time parent yourself, I’d be very surprised to hear it, because this thread has first-time parents written all over it.

Please just let go of getting certain knowledge of what your son experienced. If Heaven wants you to have it, Heaven will give it to you. We can’t, no priest on YouTube can–nobody can.

When people say it is something normal, they don’t mean it cannot be that your son saw an angel. They mean it is normal for a baby to have thoughts that his parents are not privy to. Did St. Joseph and Our Lady understand it when Our Lord stayed behind in the Temple? No, they didn’t. Did Our Lady understand everything that happened to the Christ Child as she raised him or go out into the village discussing them with others? No, she didn’t. Our Lady reflected on these things in her heart, that’s all. Just do that! You’ll be fine.

I haven’t even mentioned an angel, or baby behavior. Why do you keep lying about my posts? They’re right here, for anyone to read.
 
maybe I’m getting you consfused with some else else then. I apologize if I got you mixed up with someone else. Honestly I have no time for this distraction. I have things to do. My baby saw an angel and that’s that. I can no longer respond beyond this. Bye everyone
 
Calm down.

I believe in angels. I just prayed to my own guardian angel a few hours ago.

We agree with you that angels and demons do exist but so do fake YouTube videos.
