Just a clarification, was this person who your husband dreamed of fighting alive or dead?
 
Exactly. You said it yourself. There’s no way to know for sure. So please stop being so Adament that it’s normal behavior when we know our baby best and are telling you he saw an angel provided the circumstance we were in. God bless…
 
I would think it unlikely that a live person could be spiritually fighting in a dream with another live person, though I suppose it is possible…

Yeah it’s possible. People who are strong in the occult (satanists for example) can do those things…there are YouTube videos on it
 
I don’t mean to be uncharitable, but the fact that the OP requested ‘no scientific explanations’ on her ‘waking at 3 a.m.’ thread tells me she is not open to possible truth, just to responses that bolster her preconceived notions. She basically wants to set up an echo chamber of voices telling her she is right, rather than being interested in the truth, which may be far less dramatic than she realises.
 
Oh brother…or for once maybe think that we have outruled all other scientific explanations first…which is why we came to this forum

What on earth are you so upset about and why are you so invested in making this out to be an extraordinary occurrence? Maybe it is and maybe it is not, but as a fellow parent I can tell you that not everything your baby experiences is about you. Did your child see an angel? Maybe yes, maybe no, but you can’t know. If there is an angel and the angel wanted you to know, the angel would let you know. The angel did not appear to you, that much we do know.

There is no reason on earth that seeing a demon would make an innocent child laugh. Holy water everywhere is a great thing in any event, but please accept that you may have an introvert on your hands who is only beginning to have a rich interior life that is a private matter between him and God. You are a good parent; do not worry that he’s going to be possessed as he’s nested in your arms. As Our Lord said, his guardian angel has a front-row seat before the Throne of Heaven. Have a little more faith and calm down.

I am just curious: which specific scientific explanations did you rule out before coming here?
 
We didn’t think it was a demon but his guardian angel. If you read the comments above my husband posted his dream that night which might answer your questions. I really don’t have time to entertain this anymore…these “discussions” are a waste of time and quite frankly not what I would except from a catholic forum
 
It is not lack of faith. Youtube is unreliable. I remember as recently as the last total solar eclipse, youtube was full of videos about how it heralded the end of the world…:roll_eyes:
 
I’m sorry but if an actual satanist makes a video detailing all of his rituals and what he used to do and how he’s now converted to a believer in Christ I’m going to believe him.

But anybody can post a video on YouTube and claim anything. There’s no verification process.
 
Like I said little faith…I’ve also read father amorths book which confirmed a lot of things I saw in the YouTube video. Are you saying Amorth is a hoax too?

Catholicism does not give one license to indulge in fantasies and daydreams when common sense is called for. Leaping to superstitious conclusions is exactly the sort of thing that gives the anti-Catholic brigade ammunition against us.
