Today Worldometers (for the USA) has the “Death” count at 281,678.

281,678 + 250,000 = 531,678

So when January rolls around according to Biden we are going to have (approximately) 531,000 deaths in the USA.

CDC’s Redfield says about 450,000 by February.
And I do think, unfortunately, before we see February, we could be close to 450,000 Americans

President-elect Biden offered a very grim forecast of an uptick in coronavirus deaths in the United States as winter steadily approaches.

During remarks he made at a virtual coronavirus roundtable on Wednesday, Biden urged Americans not to travel during the holiday season in order to prevent the spread of the disease amid the national spike of coronavirus cases. He expressed sorrow that he would not be seeing his “large family” that he normally celebrates with while recalling the small gathering he had for Thanksgiving while the rest were on “Zoom.”

There’s 59 days between now and the end of January. If you take yesterdays death toll of 2875 and multiply that, it makes about 170,000. The daily case rate has gone above 200,000 per day so in the next 2 or 3 weeks that death rate is guaranteed to be around the 3000 mark per day. Unless there are strong restrictions, there is no doubt of an horrendous death toll between now and a vaccine.

He made these comments yesterday. Irrespective of what was allegedly said in October.
Biden made the remarks Wednesday in a livestreamed roundtable with workers affected by the pandemic, making an appeal to Americans to take the virus seriously.

“We’re likely to lose another 250,000 people dead between now and January,” Biden said. “You hear me? Because people aren’t paying attention.”

He added: “You cannot be traveling during these holidays, as much as you want to.”

Already, more than 272,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus this year.

That’s just it.

There ARE “strong restrictions” and they are not making a difference except putting this off (and now it is coming to “fruition”).

That’s what occurs with “MITIGATION”.
 
Over 100,000 in hospital with Covid. A very concerning daily infection rate that is spiralling out of control. A high death toll daily.
Time for tough leadership whether that comes from the reds or the blues.

All this despite widespread mandated mitigation efforts (that some people wrongly thought would be “protective”).

That’s the nature of the proverbial beast with mitigation. Sooner or later it catches up.

2, 800 dead in the last 24 hrs. So which mandates are law and which laws are failing and which media and individuals are treating the entire thing as a joke.

What would the numbers be if the laws and mandates in place were not working

Ever thought in a new way? How much worse if some were not voluntarily complying, or living their own instituted mandates.

When is it going to sink in that this pandemic has spiralled out of control.
It will continue to do so without strict legal measures in an attempt to slow its course. There are only so many mobile morgues, hospital beds, health workers, coffin makers, ventilators, you name it, to go around.
