Unless Trump thinks he can weaken the Judicial branch of government.
What do you think his federal judge appointments will be all about.
Most people don’t know that Obama did not ask permission from Congress before waging war on Libya was therefore unconstitutional because the media’s coverage is bigoted. Imagine all the friction and frustration they are causing between friends and family due to this lack of communication. Sad.
What war on Libya? What is this, more "alternative facts?
I hear a lot about biased press and i know that in some cases it’s true, but that’s reserved for Breitbart and some of the others.
There are at several things that Founding Fathers Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine stated that apply here.
“The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.” -Thomas Jefferson
“Our Liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost.” Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Currie 1786
“Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.”- Thomas Jefferson
“I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion.” -Thomas Jefferson
“Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best stage, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.” -Thomas Paine
And I would add a couple of quotes from Clarence Darrow as well…
“As long as the world shall last there will be wrongs, and if no man objected and no man rebelled, those wrongs would last forever.” -Clarence Darrow
“The world is made up for the most part of morons and natural tyrants, sure of themselves, strong in their own opinions, never doubting anything”- Clarence Darrow
