Don’t know, don’t care, can’t believe this actually qualifies as news.
Uh yeah sure.I guess it’s impossible that anyone should just think she’s not that good a dancer. It MUST be for hateful ideological reasons!
sheesh
I appreciate your honesty and the ability to look at something that has nothing to do with politics without a political lens on.Personally this liberal is glad Bristol won and always thought she was a cutie.
Obviously we do judging by the number of comments on the articleRegarding the original subject of the thread…who could possibly care?;
John
No, I don’t waste my time watching this thing. My point is, just because someone disagrees with an opinion over someone’s DANCING ability, for crying out loud, doesn’t make it political! Get a grip, folks.Uh yeah sure.
Ever watch the show? Hundreds of really bad dancers have gone through…I dont remember any outrage over them.
Bristol is not a bad dancer… you must not have watched this season.
Who is making it political? Someone posted a rather negative post about a young women that was uncalled for, others addressed that as unnecessary. She was I believe called a Loose Cannon which had absolutely not a thing to do with her dancing ability. Telling people to get a grip is also uncalled for.No, I don’t waste my time watching this thing. Altho a staunch conservative, I am not a Sarah Palin fan, (PLEASE, DEAR LORD, do not let her run in 2012) but you gotta admit one thing about her. If what you say is true, she’s still right there in the front row rootin’ for her daughter every week and I have to admire that.I have the opposite conspiracy. When I heard that Bristol Palin was going to be on DWTS, I thought that this would hurt Sarah Palin’s chances for running in 2012. Bristol is heavy “baggage” for Sarah whether we like it or not. As long as Bristol is on the show, the more it would hurt Sarah, and if Bristol wins it will focus negative attention on Sarah.
I wasn’t politicizing it and sorry if it looked that way, I was answering bbarrick’s questions, namely the parts in bold:You must have missed this post:
"Re: Bristol Palin’s ‘DWTS’ Success: Right-Wing Conspiracy or Improved Dancer Who Deserves to Win?
Plenty of reasons for liberals to hate her:
THAT’S who’s making this political. I still say it is possible to disagree about someone’s dancing talent without it being for political reasons.
- She supports abstinence, a banned word on the left.
- She has not aborted her child, an unthinkable course of action for a young person to take.
- The left prefers Levi Johnston because, of course, he insulted Sarah Palin and her family on live air, and that instantly gets you into the lefty club.
- They hate her mother. Like mother, like daughter. Hate mother, hate daughter.
The list goes on."
That is the original post of this very topic, and I was the first respondent, so I was responding to his original post. Hope that clears things up.I understand it’s dancing with the stars, not learn how to dance with the stars. But they do pit people who have a career or some sort of background in dancing against people with two left feet every season. I barely watch the show, but I do not understand the disgust liberals have for this young girl. Of course Brandy was the better dancer, I could have told you that before the show ever started. But I think people can relate to Bristol more than they ever would Brandy.
Oh well, barely interesting enough to not be considered a waste of time imo. Too bad they are whining about a show that has nothing to do with politicis because they do not like the politics of one of the contestants mother.
Her mother may have got her on the show, but she has kept herself there. You are 100 percent wrong.Altho a staunch conservative, I am not a Sarah Palin fan, (PLEASE, DEAR LORD, do not let her run in 2012) but you gotta admit one thing about her. If what you say is true, she’s still right there in the front row rootin’ for her daughter every week and I have to admire that.
I think it would be a huge shame if Bristol wins because if she does the world will know it wasn’t on her own popularity or merits, but wholly on her mother’s. If I were Bristol, I’d be downright embarrassed!![]()
Why? Is he upset because it wasn’t black powder?White powder was sent to the studio last night.
Yes… the left is so enraged over a 20 year old on DWTS… they are sending white powder to scare her into not dancing.
Cant get any more crazy than that.
also yesterday,
Rev Al Sharpton is commenting on it now too… I am sure he will call it racism.
Funny. Why? Is he upset because it wasn’t black powder?
I don’t believe that it has anything to do with “the left.” I think it’s about diehard fans of the show who simply think that the best contestant should win and not just the most popular. A lot of people were equally irritated over the conspiracy to keep Sangia on American Idol and the fact that a dime-a-dozen guy with a guitar and a sob story won America’s Got Talent instead of the most talented contestant, Prince Poppycock.Once again… the left is unhinged and ridiculous over a tv show. I understand Joy Behar is so enraged over this nonsense that she might need a straight jacket.
Serves your right! Silly boy! Such dreadful insignificant rot the lot of it!Amen. And that goes double for her mother.
I’m already suffering from Palin fatigue and I voted for her.
